Bobby Petrino's Louisville Cardinals are 0-3 and he can't manage a clock for shite.

He was left a pretty stacked team by Strong.
Bert was left a deck strongly stacked against him.
First time Louisville has started 0-3 since Pre-Schnellingberger, or in other words, the first time anyone 31 years and younger has witnessed this.

Seeing Petrino struggle will always put a big smile on my face....

I was coming here just to post this. Starting the weekend off on a great note.
It's funny to me that he's got this QB round robin system for the last 2 years. He's cycling these QBs and fricking up his offense's rhythm, and it's on the same level with Nutt when he couldn't decide between Sorahan, Clark or Jones.

Someone on Woopig said it best -- never thought I'd see the day when a Bobby Petrino team has a stout defense but can't get a first down on offense, while at the same time a Bret Bielema team has a high-yardage passing attack but can't run the ball for shite.

As bad as I hate to admit it, that puts a smile on my face as well.
Watching him on national TV collapse on the sideline from a mild heart attack would be even better though.

Louisville ain't in the Big East anymore. I'd really like this to be the norm for him, but he'll rebound - probably next year. He's set for life at Louisville. He's in a unique situation where they know what beyond certainty he can do and will eventually do. It's not like they're 0-3 and gambling if it will ever change.

and... it will have to be proven to me, i am not sure he will be able to recruit well enough, have a defense, etc...
I think he is spoiled goods, so to speak!

he''s gonna have that offense hummin in the next 2 years. that team looks a lot like the 08 hogs. they are loaded at WR and that QB is pretty decent

I've tried consciously, unconsciously, sober, semi sober,, all ways that I know of trying, to look at him and not see all the swollen cuts and bruises on his face, but, I just can't do it.

Right after the botched timeout at the end of the first half I flipped over to the Chiefs/Broncos game and they were showing Harley Davidson motorcycles at the Harley plant
Petrino throwing his hat down
Change channels
Harleys coming off the assembly line
I nearly died

Maybe, but he's on this kick where he cycles through QBs, and Ryan Mallett isn't walking through that door.
He's playing a ton of freshmen right now, so they'll be very talented in a few years, but without any semblance of a QB or offensive rhythm, his system doesn't work. This is the second year in a row now that his offense has been pretty bad.
Just checked, and Louisville is now ranked #101 in total offense .

How the hell can he ever recruit anything but the dregs?

Maybe I'm in the minority but I wish Bobby nothing but the best. We all make mistakes and his mistake cost him his job. He loved the UofA and probably would had been here for the long haul. He didn't bash the university or quit and took a job else where. Hell the man didn't even try and recoup any of the money left on his contract even if he couldn't.

That's like saying you ain't mad at the guy who raped your wife because he got up and left quietly when he was caught. History has shown Petrino to be a Grade A cocksucker in every facet of his life. He deserves whatever misfortune life continues to have in store for him.
frick that a-hole.

Yea, because both situations are similar

On a somewhat related note to the tone of this thread, tGus Bus is absolutely getting its shite pushed in right now in Baton Rouge.
Hopefully we wreck Tech's shite and cap off a good weekend.
