And still got profoundly outcoached and outplayed.

While some of our fans were taking to their fainting couches last week over dropping consecutive games to two undefeated top 5 teams, Bert had this team focused and prepared.

Ole Miss had a bye week last week and has been preparing for this game for 2 weeks. They were out for blood after 2 years of heartbreak. In the end, it didn't mean jack shite.

Defense showed up. Offense was clicking on all cylinders. Running game was nearly unstoppable. Halftime adjustments were made and paid off. Late game coaching decisions and clock management were fantastic.

Whether you're a Bieliemer or Pigfeet, you have to admit that this might've been Bert's best coaching effort to date.

And, we face an Auburn team who's HC see this game as his superbowl this week, the week after their bye.

I can't wait to see the gimmicks and trick plays Gus came up with during the bye week for this game.

I would plan on abusing Brooks Ellis and the middle to the field. Hopefully, Gus will out think himself.

I hear he's expanded the playbook to 6 plays.

Couldn't agree more. It proved a lot. When we gave up the score, I'm programmed to think it's over. This team doesn't give up. If our OLINE could find just a little more time in pass pro, we could see a pretty special season.

My only gripe with beilama that game and it seems to be a recurring thing actually, is his usage of timeouts. It seems every game we waste at least 1 timeout per half because we don't have correct defensive alignment and at least 1 per half because the play clock is running down. It hasn't come back to bite us yet but eventually not having any timeouts or only having 1 late could come back to haunt you.

I'd give my left foot for a Bielema team to actually score at the end of the first half when we receive the opening kickoff.

His field-generalship is very lacking for my taste. I like an aggressive football coach.

He's OK. He's got faith in his team and they tend to play up for him. With that said we need to build depth at several key positions and we've gotta figure out how to beat Texas am and bama.

Hugh Freeze is one of the most aggresssive offensive coaches in the country. He's also currently sitting on a 3 game losing streak to Bert, during which all of his teams were ranked in the top 20.

Also, Bert's got some pretty big balls when needed and is not afraid to go for the jugular. Going for 2 against Ole Miss in OT last year is a prime example, plus the myriad 4th down calls.

That's pretty damn aggressive if you ask me.

he's shown the ability to be aggressive plenty of times. 4th down calls, fake special team calls, going for 2 plus the win, etc

the times when he's not aggressive have so many variables to consider it would be impossible to fully understand why he's not being aggressive.

I think if he was cleaner in game management he wouldn't find himself with his back against the wall and having to pull fake punts or go for risky 4th downs.

Oh definitely, if he were cleaner in "game management" we'd convert every single third down and score on every drive.

Knowing Bert, when Ole Miss comes back to town in 2018, he'll have some pregame ceremony planned that includes Matt Jones throwing a pass to Hunter Henry, who proceeds to lateral it back to Darren McFadden, all while Santos Ramirez and Preston Carpenter's family look on.

tGOAT coaching troll.
