It'd only get cancelled if you didn't go to class or straight up failed everything. It's based on your income from last year right? Why would it get cancelled for you?
Or is this an early thread for next fall?

Louisiana stopped handing out funding to in state students. They broke.

Wow, they're fricked. Oil prices tanking is also going to really hit Louisiana tax revenues, too.

There have been tell-tale signs that O&G will eventually start (haha) going the way (haha) of the (haha) dinosaurs. Ignore all political nonsense and who WOULDN'T prefer something much cleaner for their kids to breath for 80 years?
Once that ball got rolling, it was only a matter of time. So now the states that are fighting against progress simply for jobs/money are going to get fricked because they couldn't see beyond their own selfish needs. Something tells me there's PLENTY of spots for Exxon to start doing f'ing solar farms in LA. Poof. Jobs for decades.
Wish people would stop ignoring the issue just because it's scary.
Also - I didn't realize you were in school pio. What year?

You sound hippy as frick, with all that "whats good for your body" talk.

solar energy is important. I think it will allow us to achieve true independence. think about how awesome a system it would be if your whole neighborhood was just locally dependent on your neighborhood for their electricity. No bill from the electric company. The main grid is only a backup system if used at all. Most if not all your energy comes from your own house while any overflow is balanced by what your neighbor is not using right now.
i think that's where we are headed.

I agree 100%, my above post was sarcasm, after my comments about the fact that most commercially raised meats are horrible for your body.

I agree with you on all of this...
But now can we get Arkansas to promote wind energy and approve some wind farms so I can for once work close to NWA.
I have been waiting 14 years to put up a huge wind farm in our state

It's definitely only a matter of time. I think Germany produces a ton of solar energy and their sunlight isn't NEARLY as strong as Arkansas. Wind? I have no idea. I know San Antonio has a huge one because I looked at the investment. But that's the extent of my knowledge outside of what they do in TN. Is AR a good candidate?

Yes AR has a great wind corridor to support turbines. All through the Ozark mountain range. We have the cheapest rates on the market as of now, give great tax incentives to the counties that allow us to build and wind is one of the best investments in the world.
But being 100% environmentally friendly for our future is the best choice.

Solar is making pretty big improvements year over year. With Arkansas being a fairly rural state with very hot summers, there should be some sort of incentives for solar energy just to reduce powergrid stress during heat waves.

The solar sector is improving but I think battery storage is the wave of the future. Though all green energy options should grow moving forward.

Eh it'll still be cheaper to burn coal and fossil fuels once batteries become capable enough.
Electricity won't get cheaper BC of solar and wind power if we stop using gasoline to drive cars.
Although I'll be investing in solar farms soon. Electricity is only going to become more expensive.

We are in contract talks now, get ready, we will brake grown in less than two years. Only thing stopped us previously was the long - haired bats. We cleared that issue just over 3 months ago and our first farm is proposed to be in Gravette, Arkansas 250 1.5 MW turbines.
Posted on 2/12/16 at 2:34 pm to johnzorback
Coal is done. And yes electricity will be cheaper we sell off our electricity cheaper to customers at a lower price per MW and those cost will reach residents. Will it be free, no but it will lower and also stop inflation once wind and solar expand.
