Auburn released their Week 1 depth chart and Marshall is listed on there as the first string QB.

I just put some money on Arkansas at +20.5, I would jump on that because it will go down in the next few days.

I keep up with SEC football enough to have a decent read on most teams, but obviously am not as familiar with the teams as their own fans. Below is my general read on Arky and this weekend's game. Tell me where I am wrong and fill in the gaps where I am lacking:
Offense: Good, not great, o line. Very good group of RBs that compliments each other well. Very talented Tight end. Mediocre group of receivers. QB that was talented out of HS. Injuries hampered him significantly last year, so no one is sure what we are going to get from him.
Defense: A couple of very good d linemen. Mediocre at LB and in the secondary.
Special Teams: No idea.
Saturday's game: Arky can win if they can stop AU a couple of times early with JJ at QB, can score first, can run the ball almost at will (with a couple of play action big plays) and can win the turnover battle by two or more. I don't think all of that happens, but see it as a possibility.

I ain't worried bout it, this will all take care of itself by saturday night. They will disappear with a quickness after an embarrassing loss in JHS to a team that tRant has crowned the worst in college football this year.

Jwill- All around/bruiser. Collins- Shifty with the 20-40 yard gains potential. Marshall- Explosive. Will have the best highlights for long

Pretty much, Our Dline should be towards the top of the league in stats. Our LB's will be are getting better but are very young. CB's... We will see, the scheme last year was horrible for ANY CB.

eta: as for the game. As long as we don't get down more than 1 TD we are in the game. Our team isn't built for chasing a game.

I don't think Arky was as bad as their record last year and think they will be better this year. I still think AU pulls this game or by a couple of scores at home, but very little would take me by complete surprise.

Allen catches ALOT of hell for WR frick ups last year. They had a TON of drops/tips/route frick ups. Even with his bum throwing shoulder last year he really wasn't as bad as his stats/we make him seem.

Is Marshall (AU QB) for sure going to sit out this game? Don't know how much it might help but he sure burned us with the big play last year.
