I think 8-4, but no specific game picks.

I have us with 7-2 with 3 toss ups. I am guessing we go 1-2 in those games, finishing the season at 8-4

Hogs go 7-5.

IMO, it all hinges on TCU. Win that and we have a great season. Lose it and we struggle.

Knowing Bert and our penchant for weirdness (e.g. losing to Toledo and getting railed by Texas Tech and then going 5-3 in conference play in 2015), our record will be something like this:

Florida A&M - L
TCU - W
Texas A&M - W
New Mexico State - L
@South Carolina - W
@Alabama - W
Auburn - W
@Ole Miss - L
Coastal Carolina - L
@LSU - W
Miss State - W
Missouri - L

7-5

FTW, here's my 'official' prediction from the earlier pages of this thread:

quote:

Aug. 31 Florida A&M (LR) - W
Sept. 9 TCU - L
OPEN
Sept. 23 Texas A&M (Arlington) - L
Sept. 30 New Mexico State - W
Oct. 7 @South Carolina - T/U
Oct. 14 @Alabama - L
Oct. 21 Auburn - L
Oct. 28 @Ole Miss - W
Nov. 4 Coastal Carolina - W
Nov. 11 @LSU - L
Nov. 18 Miss State - W
Nov. 24 Missouri - W

6-6 or 7-5

I'd like to be more optimistic, but I see too many question marks at key areas (RB, OL, WR, front 7/3-4 transition). Plus, to be frank, Bert has a losing record against every SEC coach on our schedule (excepting Matt Luke, whom he hasn't faced). I find myself wondering when this year's Rutgers, Toledo, Texas Tech, Louisiana Tech, Auburn or Mizzou will fall on the schedule. A few coaches have Bert's number, specifically Gus, Saban, Sumlin and Mullen.

Quite frankly, nothing between 4-8 and 9-3 would shock me.

I think we should all start reconsidering our predictions, including myself.

Yep.

I had us losing to TCU and A&M, but I can't see us beating USCe, Mississippi State and Mizzou. We lose at least 2 of those 3 games.

One thing from my prediction that 4-8 is a definite possibility. There's a very real chance that we win our OOC cupcakes and 1 SEC game with this bunch, though I'm having a tough time finding a conference win at this point.

This team won't beat South Carolina, State, Auburn, LSU, Alabama for sure. That is 6 sure fire losses for the season there.

Missouri, Ole Miss, aTm will be crap shoots. So, say you go 2-1 in those games and you're still 5-7. Screw up and blow some leads and this could be 2013 all over again.
