Whatever man. I'm sick of the current political environment (I'm sure that I'm not alone on this) and it's nice to not have to see it on a sports board.
On the other hand, it has given me a convenient place to vent about it and seemingly rustle you at the same time, so it's all good. Let's keep going. I'll try to put some good political threads up in the near future.

You damn well know you wouldn't apply this logic consistently across all topics. Would it bother you if someone started playing daily threads promoting their business on here? By your logic, it and really any other topic would be perfectly acceptable.

Wow. Well I'm glad we have you here to speak for me. You really have me all figured out. I don't know Bart Hester or follow state politics too closely but you know what? I'm glad someone started a thread on an Arkansas specific board (this one) to let me know what's going on and their opinion.

To get back on topic, a different proposal with a termination date of Dec 31 was passed, including a yes vote from Bart

so this dumbfrick Hester voted against a bill that would bring the state into compliance w/ Federal Highway dollars.
He says the state isn't hurting for money to need to spend money to get federal dollars.
Does that frick not travel anywhere else and see how developed their infrastructure is which surely was paid for with federal dollars.

Our stupid tea party types are fine with us funding spending in other states and not getting shite here. Arkansas is a small state. We're not going to change Washington. They only wind up hurting Arkansans, and sending our tax dollars to other states that don't need it as badly as we do.

We rank in the bottom percentiles of most quality of life metrics.
Our elected leaders need to be out there raking in ever dollar, every program, every pilot medical program, every research grant, every possible thing they can scrape in to benefit our state and the populations that don't have the resources to do it themselves or have the knowledge or training in how to do it.
