Hey guys. Missed yall. In case you haven't noticed, I'm back a month early. Turns out I'm allergic to bee stings and turns out that's a disqualifying factor in the Air Force. Got stung by a bee in WoT 3. First time I've ever been stung in my life. Had to go to the hospital for a reaction and they discharged me. I'm on my phone so I won't go into the whole situation in this post, but I'll explain the whole situation when I get home. I've had a horrible last couple of weeks.

Wow dude. Well, it wasn't meant to be. Glad you didn't die of the bee.

Sorry dude! Glad you're still around to tell the tale. Anaphylactic shock is scary stuff!

My bee sting while zip-lining in Hawaii doesn't seem so bad now!

Thanks for serving. You were willing and the vast majority can't say that.

On to your next adventure...

Sorry dude. At least you'll be here for the run to Omaha.

You gearing up for school in the fall now? Best of luck for whatever you decide to do.

Well look at the bright side of the situation. You didn't get discharged for being a wuss, and it could have been something way worse like your testicles filling with fluid or some other crazy stories I have heard happening to people during basic. Much respect to you for giving one of the most dangerous jobs in America right now a go.

Glad your still breathing, and like V said, you are back for the run to Omaha.

I didn't think you got discharged for that, must have had some other reasons as well most likely and didn't tell you.

Also, Go Ducks.

You could very easily get discharged for something like that, especially while you are still a trainee.

Let me rephrase, as a trainee its likely, after that you can usually get a waiver to carry the epi pen.

They seem to think in most cases it isn't an auto DQ, but as a trainee I could see it being far more likely.

Or before basic. But I had no idea I was even allergic. I'm sure them seeing me have a reaction right in front of them didn't help my case at all. What's bullshite is the fact that they didn't give me the option to get a waiver and re-enlist. I'm still trying to see if I get to keep my GI Bill. That'd be huge for me going to college. Probably the difference between me going to U of A or Jonesboro.

There were three guys in my flight that bailed before WoT 2. It was pathetic.

Damn right. I also see that I garnered some attention from the Rant without even being here. Forever in their heads.

If I can get everything together in time, I'd love to start school in the fall, but with me fighting to keep my GI Bill and working out the rest of this mess with the molasses-esque military, I'm thinking the Spring will be more likely.

What pisses me off was that I wasn't even having a hard time. I already had a Warhawk mile and a half run time and was only 3 push ups and 4 sit ups short of Warhawk. It just really sucks knowing I was succeeding and having it all taken away from me. Oh well. It won't be so bad if I get to keep my GI Bill and become an Arky Alum
