Not a single true SEC quality FB on our roster

I looked at our last 2 recruiting classes and it looks like we didn't sign 1 FB. That's like a spread passing team only signing 1 WR in its last two classes.
We can't run downhill when our RB is getting met at the line and has to alter his direction. It screws up the entire timing when our RB knows he won't be able to get a full head of steam.
Since we have no full back and apparently are pretty good throwing the ball, we might as well just become what every other team sans LSU and couple others are - a team that sits in shotgun every play and occasionally hands it the running back on draws and occasionally runs a read option from shotgun.
The fact that this is where we stand in year 3 is inexcusable. We could have hired any high school coach for $100k to come here and do that.

"True" fullbacks are hard to come by, and they're fairly rare coming out of HS. Bert's M.O. at Wisconsin was to transition a big tailback into that role, but so far it hasn't worked out here. At least we have Cantrell shirting and Hayden Johnson coming aboard next year.
As weird as it is to say, we miss Patrick Arinze as much on offense as we will Flowers, Philon and Spaight on defense.
It's pretty telling that on the depth chart for the Toledo game, the three deep at FB was Kody Walker, Damani Carter, and Kendrick Jackson. You know you're in bad shape at FB when your depth consists of a career tailback who is a soft 260 pounds, a walk-on freshman, and a true freshman converted linebacker.

I just don't get it. It took Kendrick Jackson, a true frsoh, to recognize our need at fullback and offer himself to the coaches for him to get there, and that was just a week or so before the season. It makes no sense.

You think FB is the problem?
We have a fat, slow O line and a fat slow RB. Not hard to see why we're easy to stop.
I said our running game was shite after UTEP and got chastised.
