Not official, obviously, but DJ Williams tweeted that it was a significant injury, but that he would be OK.
Whatever that means. If true, I'm guessing out for the season.

If true, is he still eligible for a medical redshirt? My guess is no because we're more than halfway through the season.

Haven't even thought of a RS, I'm wondering if the injury will prevent from ever playing a contact sport?

I thought it'd already been established that he'd make a full recovery and return?
Either way, we've probably seen the last of him this year.

The fact he will fully recover doesn't mean he will want to play football again

Full recovery, yes. Return? Unclear. I think they're just happy he'll recover at this point. The fact that they haven't disclosed the injury or a timetable for return makes me worry a bit. Hopefully, it's unfounded and he'll be back with us next year, at least.
