From something Chesh said in another thread. Something like "With next seasons schedule we need to make some noise" With the coaches that will likely be at these schools, how do we shape up against this schedule?

I say....

Florida A&M WIN
TCU WIN

BYE WEEK

TAMU @ Dallas WIN
New Mexico State WIN
At South Carolina WIN
At Alabama LOSS
Auburn LOSS
At Ole Miss WIN
Coastal Carolina WIN
At LSU LOSS
Mississippi State LOSS
Mizzou WIN

Why so early? well, gotta have something to hope for.

Dude, I love your optimism, but there's no way we win 8 games next year. Have you seen all the senior talent leaving on offense? Morgan, Hatcher, Sprinkle, Skipper...those are our best players outside of the RBs

No way we beat A&M, TCU will torch our horrendous spread Defense, Ole Miss is a coin flip, and We can't even beat Mizzou now

Next season's coaching staff...

Bret Bielema and probably Robb Smith

No. We will not "make noise."

Up to 9 winnable games on that schedule if we can keep Enos and make a change on defense to shore that side up a bit.

We won 7 games with a record breakingly bad defense. Give me an average defense with that schedule and we can get 9.

I'm normally a pessimist too but I look at that schedule and see good things. The only downside is the week 3 bye. That's why I'm happy we end the season with two home games instead of like this year.

If there is no shakeup on the d staff we win less games next year.

A super early bye week isn't going to help us much. I do like getting Coastal in the middle of the SEC run to give us a breather before the home stretch.

That looks like a 7-8 type season. Possibly a bit more if we overhaul the defense, possibly a bit less if we continue to stink on ice.

I'm gonna miss Skippers game changing holding calls and personal fouls. One of the more overrated OL.

I am going to hold off on having high hopes for next season.

The key for next year is Ragnow coming back. If we can return 4/5 starters on the Oline that will be big. As a group, they need a spring together to get better. They showed flashes this season of being a very solid group. I have faith in Dumplin' to right the ship there.

So on offense, we could return 4/5 starters on OL, Starting QB, Both RBs, Cantrell, and Cornelius at WR. Thats a pretty damn good core to work with for Enos. The offense should be fine.

On defense we return DBs Coley, Toliver, Richardson III, Ramirez, Pulley, and Lidell. At LB we return Greenlaw, Eugene, Harris(who i think will be best). At DL we return out of our rotation Agim, Roesler, Jackson, Capps, Beanum, and Ramsey.

There is talent there if we can get someone in here that can defense a read option offense with a run threat QB.

We could bring back the stache who could stop the read option and nothing else.
