There's too many damn people here now. 500k chickenheads w/ roads meant for 125k.

A little fender bender shuts the while shite down. Real cities push non injury accidents to the side and get traffic moving. In Fayetteville you get 3 units blocking 2 lanes.

Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

Took 25 minutes to get light to light

I got stuck on 45 headed west into Fay on Friday. Didn't see the wreck but they were turning people around and re-routing them via back roads.

I agree traffic sucks and the 3rd land on i49 is going to do little to address the problem.

We're turning into a city and it sucks. I agree.

I hate to admit it but a western bypass in 15 years might be the solution we need. And the fact that we still don't have a 412 bypass built is basically a crime. frick the state govt.

Yeah and whoever was responsible for tearing up the median cable on 49 immediately after it was completely finished and start working on the lane expansion. Talk about a waste of money.

Almost too late for anything running east to west. Figure 8 loop that crossed in Lowell and went north of bentonville and south of Fayetteville would be awesome. Lol

Infrastructure is 15 years behind. 6 lanes on 540 or 49 should've been completed at least 5 years ago.

Building the retainer fence was a joke, then tearing it down to expand the bypass was another big waste of taxpayer $$$$.

Hwy's 16, 62 and 45 are a clusterfrick, not to mention 102 and 72

Thanks Obama and your shovel ready jobs!

Don't worry. The state government will get our roads up to par about the same time we all start using flying cars.

When I lived in Farmington the worst was 62 at 8 am, traffic would stop before you got to Lowes. Don't think I would live west of 49 again for that reason.

I used to work in Prairie Grove. That commute was great, because I was always traveling the opposite direction of all the congestion.

Crap. I was gonna try to beat traffic and leave at 4 and do the rest of my emailing from home.

West of I-49 is a complete cluster at any spot along the corridor. 412 is a cluster, Wedington is a damn nightmare, the 2 lanes to 3 always bottlenecks... not when going from 3 to 2, but 2 to 3 both in Lowell and in Fayetteville... WTF?

there might actually be some game traffic for this one too.

112 is criminal in the way the housing additions were built, it can't be expanded. I've been championing a new western N/S passage from Bella Vista/Centerton to Farmington for years.

It could loosely follow Double Springs Rd. up to 112 and join in at the 549 Bella Vista Bypass. The land is open now it's the time for Womack or Cotton to actually do something.
The land is open for it now
