I love Mike and want him here a long time. But if only he could teach boxing out and stress smart basketball as much as he stresses fast basketball. Fast and smart are not mutually exclusive.

It's just so damn frustrating to see so much effort and talent on the floor only to see the other team capitalize on easily preventable mistakes/fundamental failures.

We really need a guy that can penetrate versus a zone.

For sure. I'm not really upset with tonight- well until we didn't foul there.

21 turnovers, and I'd say about 10 were unforced.

Yeah I hate how we just pass it around the key. Drive and kick it back out to a shooter - that's the highest percentage way to shoot a jumpshot.

We average 11 turnovers a game and we committed 21 tonight. Madden and Harris committed a lot of them which is sad because it was their last game in a Hog uniform and they played like complete arse.

Bobby come back.
Any kind of fool could see.

Its a good season to build off of going forward though. Not just that we won a pretty good amount of games but we won a lot of close games. The sort of games we have been losing for years.

Yeah it was a great season. We played a bad game tonight and turned the ball over too much.

I'm just glad we beat Wofford honestly.

Same complaints with Nolan. It is what it is. It's his style and his way. Took Mizzou and UAB to elite 8. I heard all the same about Nolan and his n-----ball. Then I watched him beat Dean Smith, Jim Boheim, and Mike kryswwoksislsl$%$#$-the Duke coach. No to mention Pitino. Tark handed him his arse, but that damn Amoeba defense and that team were prob the best of all time.

I'll take it and like it.

After rewatching the full games of his teams on YouTube the past few weeks, I don't see it. His teams were a hell of a lot smarter with the ball. They made mistakes because it's college ball, but it wasn't anywhere near the point of this year's team.

No shame in losing to UNC, but frick we had a chance. They had us rattled, and i think the stage/pressure had us rattled. Didnt help that our style of play played into theirs, it wasnt the best of draws.

But great season, a team to be proud of, and heres to hoping some dudes come back, some guys develop, and Whitt is ready to go. I think we see a much more fluid team next season. Losing Harris and Madden means we lose their production, but others can step in and hopefully play more sound basketball.

His better teams. We need a good smart point guard. Hopefully, we have him. He's just young.

I know it's a terrible cliche, but yesterday was one of the only times in my life where I felt like the better team lost. I thought that we looked like a much better team when we weren't shooting ourselves in the foot.

That had to be one of the most frustrating losses I can remember. At LEAST 50% of those turnovers were unforced. I feel like we would have won comfortably had we just had an average turnover game.

If Bobby DOES come back, we need to spend more time in practice working on post entry passes. The ball needs to touch his hands within 10 ft of the basket (run offense through him) on the majority of our possessions. Can't imagine that our entire offense wouldn't benefit as long as Bobby remained a willing passer.

We lack a real threat to drive and score or drive and distribute.

None of our guards are in the Lee Mayberry/Cory Beck/Kareem Reid mode. That kind of guard is needed to make this offense a lot more effective.

I didn't feel that way at all. It's not like Carolina got hot and started jacking in 3's on us all night, which is the recipe you see when a less talented team pulls an upset.

I saw a more athletic and deeper team that beat us at our own game, repeatedly beating us down the floor for easy layups.

And on turnovers, it's not like we can say that it was so uncharacteristic for Harris to commit all those unforced turnovers.... he's been doing that his whole career.

I think this is what is setting kentucky apart from other teams. They have more than one guard that can not only penetrate but take it all the way to the hole on anybody.

I hope Beard can improve in his sophomore year like the Harrison's have.
