The tweet only specifically mentions the 2018 game so the 2019 one in Fayetteville might still happen but I'm not sure

Move the home Texas game up if possible. When is that one scheduled again?

We can't get at Texas fast enough, as far as I'm concerned.

Michigan vs. Notre Dame is a CFB classic series. I understand the move. Also, I want no part of Harbaugh. Let's schedule Indiana or Purdue.

F that. I was looking forward to playing them when Harbaugh will have them playing well. Would've been a lot of fun.

Probably going to have a UAB or UTEP type team take up the slot now

So a win instead of a loss.

Or a boring win instead of an exciting one

I'd rather not be scared of scheduling teams like State is

Don't get me wrong, I would love to play Michigan. The wife and I were already locked in to going to Ann Arbor and I was stoked about it. That's one stadium I'm dying to visit.

However, my personal opinion is that Harbaugh is a top 5 coach in the country and Michigan will be rolling by then. It's my preference, for the sake of our program, that we focus on getting guaranteed wins rather than a fun game for me as a fan. If that means playing Purdue rather than Michigan then I'm fine with it.

We're 4-6 in our last 10 regular season OOC games against P5 opponents. That's not a good thing.

I wish scheduling took the fans, entertainment and competition into consideration more these days. With the TV contracts, the schools are making money, it only makes sense to put together the best, most interesting games possible.

Instead of being scared to play someone on your level bringing on 4 patsy games doesn't really give fans their money's worth. Only in the SEC do you get big time match-ups every week and the home conference schedules typically give you a couple great games on paper each year. Of course Arkansas gets 4-5 of those type of games annually in a season when counting the road schedule.

There's no reason for OSU, Kansas, Nebraska, OU, Colorado, Iowa, and the Texas and military schools to not be on our schedule regularly. Alcorn St., ULM, ULL, LaTech, UTEP, Toledo, Bowling Green, E. Michigan, Tulsa, MoSt, E.Ill, Jacksonville St., etc don't do much for most fans.

I agree with you on Harbaugh and where he'll probably have Michigan by 2018

I'm just not sure what the point of playing the game is if we're scared to schedule good teams

Bah. I was really looking forward to the series. Still, Notre Dame and Michigan is an old school rivalry, I can't blame them for renewing that. This does put us on the clock to find a P5 team to replace them without a whole lot of warning which could be a pain in the butt.

Good God no, keep Army and Navy (maybe Air Force) as far away from our players knees as possible. Every team cut blocks but Army and Navy do it constantly. As to the other schools you mentioned, by all means yes.
