A fried of mine works at Har-Ber and said Monk is going to Kentucky for private school and they've already bought his mom a house. Didn't know if this was common knowledge so sorry if already posted.

I hope we get Monk but I'm not holding out hope. He reminds me a lot of Mike Qualls. A pretty good basketball player with STUPID athleticism and perfect for Anderson's system. I wish they both played football

We don't have much room to talk, we brought him to Bentonville and gave his brother a job at the U of A. Would be nice to keep him but it looks like Kentucky REALLY wants him.

We had Penny Hardaway set up, until Memphis made a better offer.

If you are good at it, you can still turn UK in and not have to worry, its a we don't get him no one does strategy, ie the SWC in the 80s.

Yeah I hope we can keep him from going to UK but it's looking iffy.

Basketball is so dirty. Maybe worse than football.

No doubt about it, it's way worse.

Definitively worse than football, and it's mostly due to the construct of the team.

Won't this be like Monk's third school in as many years (or four)?

Not bashing the kid, but isn't that a red flag or is it normal for basketball recruits to switch schools often? Just an aside, but I'm always leery of guys who transfer a lot in high school -- reminds me of that tight end from Texas a few years ago, Chris Barnett, who went to 4 high schools in 4 years and then committed to like three different schools (us being one of them) until flipping to Michigan on NSD, only to wash out a month after arriving on campus.
