As of today, we're in the last 4 in. I'm not back on the Mike bandwagon but if we make the tournament will all be forgiven?
Gotta beat Lsu obviously. Lose today and it's all over unless we win the SEC tournament.

The way I see it....
I would imagine that somewhere around half of the anti-Mike crowd would be back on the pro/neutral Mike side with a NCAAT app. Half of that remaining half would require sweet 16 or better to come back. That remaining 25% will never get on the Mike train again. Any success will be attributed to luck and opponent failures.

There's a lot of us in the "lost so much interest we don't have an opinion on the coach" crowd who will notice if they get in the tourney and win a game or two. That will get us piqued for the start of net year.
Not even being among the top 64 or 80 or however many it is with play-ins isn't going to do it.

If we make it to the play in game, imo that's not enough to justify staying unless we make a run at round of 32 or better

He should still be fired if we make the tournament as one of the last four in. The only way he should be able to save his job at this point is by going to the sweet 16 or better. Heath got in as a low seed his last year and got canned.

With the last 4 in MA needs to win to get in and probably pull off a first round upset. Now he might be back next year regardless but the fan support for the program is not particularly strong at this point.
Anderson has put himself in the position that Nolan Richardson faced with the NIT game vs Arkansas State back in the day. Win and keep your job. Lose and who knows what will happen but it probably won't be good.

Last 4 in now means nothing right now due to how we are playing.

I just can't see this team making the dance.
Make no bones about it, I think Mike has worn out his welcome but I would still like to see this team in the NCAAt and not the NIT. Losing to Missouri and then looking like a total cluster frick of a team in our last game just has me very down on the job Mike is doing.
Of course, Ive been down on Mike since last off season about his lack of recruiting, but the last week of games has looked to me as if, he has lost his team to a point of no return. I may be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time Ive been wrong, but the body language and the 1 on 1 basketball suggests Im correct. The "Im getting mine frick everyone else" attitude on the court seems to have set in.

Maybe my expectations are too high, but I'm not any happier if we squeak in the tourney by the skin of our teeth.
We've underachieved again and our method of playing just doesn't work. That's the reason I think we're ready for some change.

anything that will help my fat butt... Glad we won, but it was against a terrible team, and yet it was on the road.
I actually believe we are still in the tourney unless we lose to anyone other than SC or FL.
If we lose to OM, Auburn, Texas AM, or Georgia... we are probably done.
and we most likely will lose to more than 1 of them.
MA better be fighting that Bear...
