Where did the fallacy of hogville being homerville get started? Everybody on that board seems to want Long gone.
There are also a ton of posters who post there despite them openly admitting that they hate the university and the Razorbacks.
It seems like hogville is full of other teams trolling our fanbase more than anything.

I remember when Chuck Barrett had his call in radio show and the hogville idiots would call in. So and so banned me on hogville. Then a mod would call in, he was banned because he said expletives.

I don't think it's been referred to like a homer forum in a long time. It's mostly made fun of because it seems to house an inordinate amount of the worst-of-the-worst inbred trailer park fans with loud voices and overly high expectations that somehow think they have an impact on anything by posting there.
HV became the lynchpin to organize the Nutt banner fiasco and those idiots thought that was the primary reason he was removed and grew some awful egos, so now they think they can affect similar change through that cesspool when they see fit.
A lot of them seem to overvalue their opinions and "hot takes" and then they just feed off the attention, which seems to be a product of not being successful elsewhere in life in a small state. These are the people that think a high post count somehow makes them a big deal and that it validates their idiotic opinions to be "message board famous." The same type (often the very same people) are the regular callers on drivetime sports and the like, once again feeding that need for attention and feeling like they matter.
It's usually enjoyable to read the echo chamber of idiocy over there if you're even a remotely normal person because they just come up with some of the dumbest, most asinine, horribly thought-out (and worded/spelled) drivel you could imagine (see Bazzel for AD, anything from Forest Shitty Joe, carpetbagger Long, etc).
ETA- there's a legit hatred of Long over there simply because they think he's a carpetbagger and a Yankee and will literally say as much
