Prepared me for last night. I figured all along that as bad as I wanted Trump to win that he didn't have a chance. The later the night got and the chances got better, I still figured he would find a way to lose. Just like any game the Hogs play I had to watch the clock hit :00 to feel relief! Anyone else feel that last night?

I had the opposite feeling. Got ready for a good cupcake beatdown and then watched in stunned silence as it all fell apart. Either way being a hog fan helped me to prepare!

Actually a more appropriate analogy from last night would be to compare life as a Razorback fan to Hillary's run. You think you got it this year, annnnnd nope its yanked right out from under you.

I didn't let myself get too hopeful until I saw NC and then Wisconsin go red.

When PA's vote count went from 99% to 89% the frickery was abound and I just knew Tom Ritter was involved from Birmingham somehow.

I lost a ban bet on the poli board over it, which is really a good thing since I was just wasting time trying to have adult conversations when 90% of that audience is trolls and the tin foil hat crowd and you can't tell which is which most of the time.

What I was wrong about was the accuracy of polling data in a tight race like that, where its evidently not that helpful.

I haven't been proven wrong yet that Trump will be a horrible president. The other good thing about this outcome is that it is the only outcome that will provide me with that answer. I'd love to be wrong.

I didn't vote for W either, and I stand by that decision based on the fact he had a 25% approval rating when he left office.

W will look like Abraham Lincoln compared to the cluster frick I fear the next four years will be.

(if we all live that long)

Do you feel like Obama's 52% approval rating is legitimate? While stumping for Hillary he said this election was for his legacy and then the entire rust belt, NC, and FL all voted Trump. I just don't see how his approval rating is really that high. Reminds me of all the polls that told us that Hillary would win in a landslide.

I disliked Clinton and Trump equally and couldn't have cared less which one of them won. The entire reason I went to vote (even though I voted for president and all other issues) was to re-elect mayor Jordan

It's worth noting that Trump narrowly lost the popular vote. Also, I liked Obama quite a bit and would not have voted for Hilary. If this was really for his legacy, then frick his legacy.

In a way yes, I was fairly numb before election day in that I despised both candidates though I found Trump more loathsome then Hillary. Sadly there have been quite a few times over the decades where my biggest hope going into a game was that we wouldn't pick up too many injuries in the game.

I will, however, say for the record that I was wrong in what I said before the election. In hindsight Hillary is slightly more loathsome then Trump. Its measured in millivomits but I think she oozes under the door a bit lower.
