Think it sets up nicely, even losing Portis.

Guards
Michael Qualls
Anton Beard
Anthlon Bell
Manny Watkins
Nick Babb
Jabril Durham
Jimmy Whitt

Forwards
Moses Kingsley
Trey Thompson
Keaton Miles
Jacorey Williams
Ted Kapita

Overall, I think this is a tourney team again. Really like the guards. Like the rebounding ability. Need Moses to become a bit more of an offensive threat. Excited to see Keaton Miles 100% next season. Trey Thompson has all the ability in the world, but needs to put in work.

If Bobby leaves then I'll assume we get a JUCO big guy to help shore up the forward spot. Hope Miles can do a Cody Clarke like transformation from year 1 to 2 or the forwards will worry me and we'll be doing more 4 guard sets.

Madden can be maddening (pun intended) at times, but he makes more of a contribution than we give him credit for. He's money on the line it always seems. We will miss him somewhat.

Are fans that are closer to this than me assuming that there is a higher risk of Portis leaving than Qualls, because I would assume the opposite.

Portis is the higher projected player obviously, but I wondered if maybe he enjoyed the college game enough to develop one more year, loyalty factor, etc?

Seems to hamstring us when MA is uncertain if he has 2 scholarships or 4 until it is probably too late to sign a top prospect should he need it. Hate to scramble with a reach late.

Kapita will take the pressure off of him having to play the blocks, Moses actually has a good mid range jump shot.
