No shite. Even after 2 decades of dog shite, we still have top 15 support in the country.
But we've also fricked up the last 3 hires. I really like Mike but don't think he was the right fit at the time. Wanted him to build a little bigger rep if he was going to come home and retire. He has a decent rep no doubt, but I'm talking finals fours and multiple elite 8s somewhere with high level recruiting.
I was really concerned with his recruiting, and its starting to show. 2 of these guys were probably going to start for us. That's really really bad.
And sorry but if Monk hasn't committed by now, he isn't going to. I just don't feel it. It has UK written all over it.

Supposedly he pushed his girlfriend down outside a club and a bouncer had to break it up. Williams came back a week later, saw the same bouncer, and sucker punched him sending him to the hospital. Piece. Of. shite. If true.

I'm sure it's true. I've seen the guy out a couple of times and he's a straight up thug. None of this surprises me. What does make me mad is that MA sat in this kids living room and couldn't figure this shite out.

You must be joking. We were setting records for low attendance before Mike got here. The fans wanted Mike, U of A wanted the fans to start coming to games again. It worked.

Hardly. Attendance has been "ok".
And I wasn't talking about attendance, I was talking about basketball fit. He was obviously probably the best available but we really needed someone who could step in and re-vamp recruiting instantly.

IMO they didn't (and still don't) need to hire for fans. The support is still there, its just in wait-and-see mode after all the BS.
