That's on top of massive GDP growth in the metro 2009 to 2014:
NWA GDP
2009 $18.47B
2014 $25.10B
35.9% growth

Plano is definitely on the boom side as this reflects. A house I bought just three years ago isn't even in the same income class now. I'm pretty much stuck where I'm at if I was to be a buyer. Which is ok. But, still... I'm ready for the bust to happen.

and still no L&L Hawaiian BBQ in NWA.
We'll not have arrived until I can get a BBQ sampler platter or fried mahi-mahi in a 30 minute drive or less.

You can't get fried Mahi Mahi at Blu in the new Bentonville Fresh Fish Market?
And what about Hawaiian Brian's? No pig?

Hawaiian Brian's isn't nearly as good.
Last time I went I got something in a steamed roll that just was not good at all.
When you find yourself in Plano or Colorado Springs or anywhere on the West Coast check it out.
Now that Cardamon & Curry is gone, someone should open up a gourmet hot dog & brat spot there. It'd be a great tie-in with the Arcade next door, the co-op and Tacos 4 Life in the parking lot.

Yeah rental and housing occupancy are nuts right now. Almost saturated
Tons of development along Highway 112, Uptown Fayetteville, pinnacle and downtown bentonville
Subdivisions, commercial and even municipal construction is ready to go. 70s in December is great construction weather too

New home pricing is crazy too. Cobblestone is selling entry units in the 180's and those home are barely worth 100. IMO.

Contractors are all swamped, even the bad ones

Speaking of "Uptown" Fayetteville, I took a pic from McAllister's parking lot, looking south along Steele this Saturday. There are four large projects already underway within about 4 blocks, and a fourth is going through planning.
Beyond that, in the background, is the 5-story addition to Washington Regional going up.

Where is that old thread where "NWA has already peaked"?
Posted on 12/9/15 at 5:03 pm to Porker Face
I think that was Pigfeet/WonderWartHawg production.

I think, like I said in that other thread, we are still early in the curve this go around. Walmart could bring 1000 tech jobs to NWA with a click of a mouse. There are tons of smaller start ups growing quickly here, too.
Dumb to sell last year. It's becoming a seller's market, rapidly.
