We are all ready for it to start. Sadly I'll be stuck at work for our first game. I'll have to listen by radio. I'll record and watch it when I come home.
I will be happy to go to the tcu game and hope we go in dry.

I wish this year was the last one.
Next year we play vandy and that should be the last game there.
Mike Irwin said the last time he asked the admin said they was not looking for another home game. Instead looking to play in pro stadiums for non con to boost recruiting. I just don't see why though. The knock for wms was we lost a home game to bring recruits in. Also it is a dump

Thinks there is a possibility that UofA buys out the last years of the contract and this game on Thursday is the last.
Gives reasoning for playing in a NFL stadium once a year other than the ATM game.
Mouth piece for the UofA???
and, and email today inviting me to a meeting prior to the game in LR to see the options for the new stadium renovations, tickets, etc. In Little Rock.. lol.

Wally couldn't be less connected if he tried. Typical of him to attempt to stir up another GSD for old times sake.
I'm of the opinion that they'll keep the Vandy game in WMS next year and be very ceremonial about it. I'm not a huge fan of Long, but he's shrewd enough to know he can't be unceremonious in how we leave WMS because of what it meant to our program so many years ago. I would be shocked if there isn't some sort of "last game in War Memorial" campaign, which is a decent enough marketing opportunity in and of itself.

Anyone with a brain should agree with your point. The optics of canceling the last LR game right after Coach Broyles death, would be a disaster in the short go around.
Long term: won't matter. since interest in all things U in A is falling with the younger generation. Look at the LR Touchdown club meeting with Bert and it's all blue hairs.

It says Brandon Martin has had a good week of practice. His back feels up to par. He will probably play. Also says he has been putting in overtime with CMS and Jred.
I tweeted him and said that I hope he puts in the extra work to get back from injury and be out there for us.
He liked the tweet and responded that he will be, and is focused on it.

I would also like to take this time to say it concerns me there hasn't been more praise for Whaley. I'm not sure if it's just expected he is good or what.
