Now I am a bit nervous...

Proud of AC and his accomplishments, made the right decision.

But we have RWIII who still is recovering from a very scary injury....

Walker, maybe??? He wasn't so sure, right? He is great for short yardage and change of pace, but as the bell cow... notta.

Juan Day.... Nothing shown really yet...

Whaley, Freshman...

We may take a few steps back with our running game placing more pressure on our Passing game and a new QBack. I was thinking we would continue stepping up in wins, now... somebody help me out here.

I wouldn't sleep on Walker. I really likes his improvement this year. He and RW3 should be the top 2 I think.

As long as we have decent Oline we are guaranteed a decent level of running success

All indications point to Rawleigh being just fine going forward.

3 back all game long rotation of Rawleigh, Devwah, and Kody will be fine. I even liked the way Denzel ran this ball this past year.

We will be fine and actually, more than fine at RB

I hope you folks are correct, but Walker hasn't decided yet, correct?

No Williams, or AC and ....

Whaley hasn't signed yet.

Really hoping to continue an upward trend in wins, but with new OL Coach, New QBack, RB changes, ... Not so sure.

and who in the heck downvotes everything. Geeze some folks need a life.

Going on Berts history, he has never had a season without a 1,000 yard rusher. Ever.

Rawleigh is more than capable, from what I saw of him this season, to be the 1k yard guy next season. I would imagine Whaley will be brought along at the same pace as Rawleigh was this year.

Walker hasn't made anything public, but why would he? He played as a junior this past season. He has enrolled in graduate studies this coming semester. There is nothing to announce.

Whaley isn't going anywhere. If you have noticed, his family has been tweeting "uncommon" things since way before he pledged to us on national television.

I expect rawleigh to return. he has some said he is coming back when healthy. he actually has learned the playbook, so he needs to get his pass pro down. infact pass pro is the main reason I want walker to return.

I think you can expect a similar situation to 2013 as far as the run game goes. I think rawliegh will know a majority of the play book, whaley will only run certain plays similar to alex (jwill and Alex both knew separate plays, so eventually teams keyed on what plays will be run by who was in, walker returning, and a healthy rawliegh will remedy this to a degree) if we get porter then I expect him to run some plays as well.

we will be fine, but if walker leaves we will be in trouble as we lose a ton of knowledge and pass pro.

also if anyone can find a video of some of rawliegh's runs this year I'd appreciate it. I want to go back and get a good feel for him.

I think we get one more running back, Porter would be nice or Pennamon.

Wasn't there a juco rb we were looking at too? Either of those would be great but gotta have a fallback.

Justin Crawford from the same MS JUCO that Terrance "Deion" Malone played his JUCO ball.

Crawford isn't a lock to qualify yet (IIRC) and has had many people interested in him. Georgia likely favorite if he can get in.

I'm not too worried about it. Take RW3's neck injury out of the mix and it's virtually identical to what Bielema walked in to in year one.

That year he had a sophomore in JWill coming off a freshman year where he had 241 yards on 45 carries and a top 5 true freshman RB recruit in Alex Collins.

Now he has a sophomore in RW3 who had 254 yards on 56 carries and a top 5 RB recruit in Devwah Whaley.

However, unlike that year we will also have TJ Hammonds and possibly Porter or Boyd instead of Denzell Evans. Then we would also have a senior Kody Walker versus a sophomore Kody Walker.

This is obviously assuming RW3 isn't mentally damaged from the injury and doesn't skip a beat in his professional. If that's the case then we've been in this scenario before and did fine.

you are absolutely correct. also a difference though is jwill was learning a new system, where as rawliegh already knows the system so he will have more of the playbook to work with. so will walker if he returns.

Ive seen some posters hating on Kody Walker...but that kid was nails closing out this season.

He held on to the ball, which has been a factor for him some of his career. He ran harder than he has before and broke some pretty good runs.

He proved to me at least, that he can be that fourth quarter bruiser that absolutely wears out a defense.

I for one, was impressed with how Walker came back this season after his injury.

I agree on walker, what more does the guy need to prove. He's a viable option as a #2 for sure

After he came back from injury....Walker

Auburn: 8/32 yards 2 TD
TNMartin: 8/57 yards
Ole Miss: 15/49 yards 1 TD
LSU: 17/88 yards
State: 7/7 yards
Mizzou: 14/77 yards 1 TD
KState: 11/56 yards 1 TD

TOTAL: 80/366 yds 5 TD 4.575 ypc

Kid came back a new man. Best stretch of his career. I have all the faith in the kid going forward. It is different when some players become dads. We saw the same change in mentality with Tevin Mitchel last season. Kody has something to play for now. He seems/plays like a different player.

I thought RW3 looked good this year when he was playing. I can't remember many of the plays as its been so long, but I remember feeling very confident in him going forward.
