We lost a hard fought game. Our defense didn't play well at all but Dak is an incredible college QB and Mullen is a great offensive coach. Our offense played out of their minds. And Hedlund was the same Hedlund we'd seen all year. Of course in hindsight some play calls should have been different but the only one I'm legit pissed about was gunning for the endzone on 4th and 1. When it comes down to it, the breaks that went our way in OM and Auburn went State's way tonight.

We will absolutely demolish Mizzou and get to a meh bowl game. After the 1st 4 weeks, any of us would have taken that.

I'm done melting until next season. If we open the season like we did this year then I'll be full melt. But I expect Bert will take a much different stance in practices this offseason.

But Joker, we could have gone to the Music City Bowl instead of the Liberty Bowl. How can we live with that??!!

Ugh if we finished in even half of our close games we might win against Aggy and Toledo and be facing a 9-10 win season. It's not like this is our first boneheaded loss. Seems to be a trend under Bielema

Pretty much, and I don't really have any problem with running the ball at the end for the FG. Got beat, it happens.

I blame the 10 broken bones. Do our players not know about CALCIUM?! Come on guys, stop breaking all your bones.

I know. I'm afraid they will play with a passion that day and we can't let this loss carry over to next week.

I'm good... Didn't think we would win from the beginning.

And honestly am excited about our future, if our recruiting and continued development continue to improve.

Need RB at a good level, our QB with Enos should do well. and our D needs all kinds of help.

We are not built as a Big 12 fast scoring team, yet half the season we had to play like it to win because our D was so dang bad. And the early losses should be cured for next season with a learning curve.

Now, as for bowls. The Belk/Music City/Liberty/Outback/Texas/and dang another one are all on the same level.

I predict Liberty or Music City with one more win. If we lose, either one of those or drop to Birmingham or Shreveport. Lordy I hate the Port...

This. We wasted his GOAT game by a dumbass coaching decision at the end of our last drive.

This game probably decided who was the All SEC QB, and I hate that Bert didn't give BA the 4th quarter opportunity he'd earned over the first 59 minutes.

BA could have earned All-SEC by making some throws in our first 4 games. He didn't.

If anyone "deserves blame," it's Robb Smith for losing at home when we score 50 fricking points.

exactly. I felt that have Brandon 1 head to head he would have gotten first team all SEC. especially with the tds and no picks. brandon is now the Arkansas all time touchdown pass leader in a career.

that wasn't a melt response. I was just saying how I felt. I figured with a win he would have gotten it for sure. I still believe he should still get it as his td to int ratio and qbr is off the charts.

Oh I agree, and it's the primary reason why I think we wouldn't have won the game anyway if we'd have made the FG.

This defense has given up 46+ points in 3 of our last 5 games, including 2 50 point games. That's awful.

Absolutely. When so many of our defensive players are either gone, injured, or shitty, we get Mississippi State scoring 51 points against us at home.

That's obviously NOT what Bielema invisions for our defense. This is a rebuilding year for the D.

Can't melt
We played like shite in the 1st 30 minutes and left it all on the field in the 2nd 30 minutes.

The Spartans won on a last second FG so why couldn't we?
Bert left it in the hands of a highly recruited kicker, 46 doesn't do his job, game over
