What does Bert have to do in 2018 to keep his job.

He's got that buyout plus the potential of the 2018 and 2019 recruiting classes.

I think he's here for 2018 with a 4-8 season or better. But I believe if in 2018 we don't get to 9 wins including a bowl game he's gone. JMHO

Hard to talk about what it will take for others to pull the trigger but in my eyes it would have to be 9 wins.

He'll be here at least through 2018-2019 maybe a move after 2019-2020 season if no progress because that class has legendary potential and they've built relationships with those recruits. But it would be the Arkansas thing to do getting rid of him right before the studs get on campus and they go elsewhere.

Edit: You are talking about next year. He is here as long as no 3-4 win years.

I really think we could do some damage in a down West this year if our D was serviceable, but I have zero faith in our ability to field an SEC D.

Show up and not field a trainwreck. Have a decent football team and he's here

As someone who quit following recruiting a few years ago....tell me about this legendary class. What year and what positions? Mostly Arkansas kids?

2019...on phone there is potential for multiple 5* players and many 4*...All positions impacted

3 from Arkie...Henry, Burks and the OL from Blytheville. Henry will be a 4*, Burks will push 5* status and the other kid will push 4*. That's just the headliners

QB Gunnell will be a 5* and all his friends that want to play with him...We are in it

He's already a 5* on 247 and the #1 TE nationally and #25 overall. We should two 5* players instate and a couple of 4*'s.

Also, isn't Brian Williams (RW3's little brother) projected as one of the top safeties in Texas for 2019? No idea where he sits with the hogs, but I remember hearing his family being very close to Bielema a while ago. I think they came away impressed with how RW3's injury was handled.

Bert needs to get his weight under control. He looks like a slob. He's gonna keep fat assing it up and we will have a Mangino on the sideline.

While I agree, I believe that ship sailed long, long ago.

2018 season will have lots of hype from the rich folks due to new stadium expansion.

It won't matter what his record is, in other words.
