now I'm getting pissed. I want him gone at the end of the season if not sooner. We have nothing right now- not even hope.

Don't make me laugh I'm enjoying being angry.

I'm just ready to be excited again, I'll never be excited with him here.

We'll have Bielema this year and next year, at least. His buyout will dictate that, unless some donor stands good for it.

I've thought all along we were going to be competitive every year with Bielema. Now I think I was wrong.

I now just hope that we can take a couple of years to find a truly good coach.

You could be excited by doing exactly as I said.

Now, back on topic, I really believe that other than the Bama game, we'll be competitive the rest of the way. We'll go to a bowl and next season we'll hope that Kelly is as good as all of the tards here think he is.

And as another bright spot, we might very well have Cornelius back next season.

I'm still pretty damn certain that Bielema will be fired after January 1st.

The money saved in buyout terms would be smaller than the money lost from another year under Bielema.

It's all about the money.. and the money makes sense for Bielema to get shitcanned in January.

I agree with Cubsfan... wow, as a Cardinals fan... I never thought....

Anywho.... We will beat some folks that we think there isn't a chance to beat.

I wish CBB would turn it around in awesome fashion. I just watched some of his interview on KARK and the dude is a good dude. He definitely cares for those kids. He handles life appropriately overall. The coaching is another matter.

Ashamed that he couldn't be involved and not be the HC. Those kids care for him as well.

But all feelings aside, sooner or later it comes down to wins and losses. And he is at that point. Hate it, but it is what it is...

The money for the buyout has already been pledged. Just need Long to play ball.

I have heard something similar...
That the money has been pledged with some very strict directions of what must happen next...

Is this what you are speaking of. Like a certain couple of coachs gets offered and accepts?

for an outsider whom would some of these boosters include? Just curious and if not I can understand. Just seems like a few ppl with connections that think they have a big name that would come here.

The money for the buyout can be found. The question is how stubborn is Long on keeping him here. If he is willing to ride the boat to the bottom with Bert this will get really ugly. If he sees reality and is smart he makes a move if we see .500 or less in the SEC.

Rev and Stone are the connected ones around here but my conversation led me to believe the money was already there prior to the season starting.

I wouldn't care as much about who the boosters are, as what coach(s) they want, and are they a realistic get.

I've heard the biggest donor lives in Dallas but it's not Jerry Jones. I'll leave it at that.

But word is Jerry doesn't like Bielema or Long. If you listen to Bielema when he talks about Jerry it's always about how the family has done a lot for the program. Never their personal relationship. I imagine Jerry doesn't like doing the trophy presentation for A&M every year. Today may have been the tipping point.

well, I knew Jerry didn't like Long...

But I was told some things were patched up prior to the academic center being built.

Hmmm, I have heard about one from Arkansas and one from Texas who has said, "Make it happen and hire specific coaches"

and Long basically has said, "No".. not until Bret has enough time considering the shape the program was in when he was hired.

Speaking of retards... Do you know what it would take to fire long? The man has more money coming into the program than ever before, likely 10 fold. He's not getting fired. We'd only be able to hire puppets for the next several years.

I've heard of of a donor pledging the buyout and the terms attached would lead us to being in OM's situation in 2008 but with the excitement of hiring an established sec coach held within a small portion of a small corner ofnthr state vs the entire fanbase...
