So Morgan, Hatcher and Sprinkle gone? I'm not gonna pretend to not be happy about never having to defend them again Any good young talent ready to step up?

Plenty on paper. None proven. Cornelius should easily eclipse 1000 yards next year.

I hear that Jordan jones is probably the fastest player on our team for 20 yards. Then reed at 40.
I expect us to always have an NFL TE or 2 here at arkansas so don't get excited about sprinkle being gone because there are more behind him.

We're bringing in the #1 JUCO TE next year. He's expected to take over for Sprinkle.

I think we get to 9-3 with losses to OM and Bama, but it could easily go 10-2 as OM is certainly beatable (by us especially).

Edit: I DO see us giving Bama a much tougher and closer game this year, but this team isn't strong enough in the trenches to match up with them. I like the fact that our passing game is our bread and butter this season, as they always tend to stifle our run game. Both teams will have to beat the other through the air and it'll be anyone's game until the final quarter, when theyll have us so worn down they can use the run and put it away.

AA is much better than I expected and has a completely opposite demeanor than his brother while under pressure. It's almost like you can expect him to make something happen on 3rd and long like its automatic, when in years past 3rd down might as well be an extension of 4th. The kid is a straight up gamer, and I'm glad that question was put to bed.

Our oline is what worries me the most at this time, as we just couldn't make anything happen in the run game when we needed to. AA was running for his life constantly last night, and don't even get me started on the goal line plays. I realize TAMU has the best DE tandem in the nation most likely, but we've handled them much better in the past.

I think the defense was great at times but got worn down towards the end, constantly having to stay glued to your man (which they did a damn good job of last night) and chasing down a running QB will do that. The DBs played noticeably more aggressive and were ballhawks all night, it's just that soft chewy center of the field where we got abused.

All in all, I could see 9-3 and I'd be very happy with that. Another year of progress and we should be on fire next season.

Would this be considered a rebuilding year? If so, winning 9-10 games in a rebuilding year is pretty good.

At this point I pretty much view OM and Bama as sure losses. Our OL will get eaten alive by Bama and I think we will have nightmares about Chad Kelly for years after the OM game. Their offense is just too good if they play well for four quarters. I just want AA to be healthy after those two games.

To get to 9-3 after that we would have to win out. That is certainly possible given our schedule, but our OL must improve throughout the season if we even want to dream of that. We still have to face Florida, Auburn, and LSU....all very capable DLs. I see us dropping one of those, hopefully no more.

I'm thinking 8-4 with hopefully a nice bowl win to continue increasing BB's season-end win total for three years running. If we finish 9-3 and win a bowl game the hype train/hog fan trolling will be out of control here, and with good reason.

At the end of the day I just want to see our team continue improving throughout the season like we have the previous two years. If that happens, we will be a very dangerous team come November.

Bama game will be eerily similar to A&M. We will play them close for 3 quarters, then get beat by 2 or 3 scores in the 4th.

We aren't there yet, folks.

Same will go with Ole Miss.
