if we could have got to the 4th 7-3 I think we had a chance to win the game like that. our offense is just too banged up to move the ball against this defense. I am happy about the pass rush that has developed. I'm not losing my shite over this game. I'm still alright with beliema. we will win alot more games this season. we will go bowling. all of you people melting are ridiculous. we wasn't supposed to even be in the game at half and we was leading until the 4th.

This was simply a game of a ridiculously deep front 7 dominating our O-line for an entire game. Saban said before the season that this was the best front 7 he has had at Alabama, which is saying something. I feel much better about our defense after this. They played out of their minds tonight. Remember, this team beat us 52-0 in Tuscaloosa 2 years ago.

Melting? Because through 3 years you can see tendencies in a coach to call trick plays in bad situations? Play not to lose? That's melting?

Wtf ever. Tigers don't change their stripes. Even fat tigers. Wisconsin fans warned us that he was a bad game manager. We could totally get away with our own version of Les Miles if he could recruit like Les.

I'm not mad. I'm encouraged. this team is getting better and better. we get a bye to get healthy and now ware are going to get ready for the stretch run.

You could feel the momentum shifting after not going for it on 4th & 1. I looked at my wife and said its over, we are fixing to get killed.

That was my one complaint. That was the only time we had momentum on offense and we needed to keep our defense off the field. Our inability to get anything going on offense was the downfall of this game. If we don't pick off that pass late in the first half we probably get shut out.

I absolutely agree. I felt like we had to go for it. that was our only chance for momentum and we squandered it. to all of you demanding how much time do we give him? I can tell you right now these last 2 years are not flukes. our games against bama will continue to be low scoring slug fests and I think we will win one. I stopped listening to the game can someone tell me how Dominique scored?

We will. We'll lose 5 though. I'm talking about these kind of games in general.

We played hard and did better against Bama then most thought we would. Now we need to get ready for Auburn. If we beat them we are still in play to make it to a bowl.

Although nothing erases the wasted loss that was Toledo, it's kind of hard not to be stoked about the rest of the season. We were sure 2–10 was imminent after Texas A&M, but now it's looking like we take the rest of our home games, along with a shot at LSU. We always play them tough, even when we suck. I fully expect a revenge beating @ a very good Ole Miss team, but our 6–6/7–5 is very possible.

We just need to recruit a good RB this class and have one of our highly rated QBs to pan out and next year we could finally be that legitimate good we've been expecting. Of course the schedule will still be a nightmare.

And there's the next year post. New QB and retooling the O Line will then be the excuse

This is what worries me. It seems like timing is never fricking on our side.

Next year should be our year given what we return on defense and the fact our tough SEC games are at home, yet we're starting over at QB and will likely be overhauling the O-line, in addition to possible losses of Collins and Henry.

We are the fricking unluckiest program in FBS.

True, but we are the most resilient as well. We always get back up for another go at it.

I already posted all of my thoughts on next season in a thread last night. what we can be hopeful about is the defense should be very good next year like it was last year. the offense will look alot like last year except that the qb will have far and away better recievers. maybe just maybe we can still be good on the offensive line. we have recruited well there. for now I am optimistic about the future but truthfully I am saddened by the way our offense and defense is staggered in terms of eligibility at key positions. we start over on offense next year as the defense becomes seniors. I wish for once we would be equal on both sides of the ball.
