How Would You Rank The Arkansas TV Newsstations

IMO who is the #1 in the state and who is deadlast?

Up until Paul Eels and later Dale Nicholson died, I thought KATV was the easily tops in my viewing area. They seemed to have slipped a little but barely holding on to the top in my preferences. That said, I can't frickin' stand the ABC World News. No attempt at all to hide their bias.
My second is a toss up. Sometimes KTHV 11 the CBS affiliate, but starting to warm up a little to KLRT Fox 16.
To be honest, I haven't really watched the newcasts enough on KARK 4 (NBC) to have an opinion on them.

KATV has slipped a bit, as has THV imho.
KARK is my favorite, KATV next, then THV/Fox on par with each other...

As a resident of Northwest Arkansas, I have no idea what the Arkansas TV news stations are like.
Cable here carries the NWA stations and our alternates are Tulsa. Sorry for partying.
Of the NWA, I like KNWA (NBC) but KHOG (ABC) probably has the best newscast as far as quality and reporting.

When Mrs. Feral and I lived in LR, we watched a lot of Fox 16 just for the comedy factor. They were an absolute joke. KATV always set the standard in my mind and carried themselves onscreen with class and elegance, or at least as much as a small state's local news station can.
Since moving to NWA, we watch a lot of 40/29, but they're no great shakes (especially their weather team).

Their incessant and unending use of "Breaking News" was utterly ridiculous back when we watched. They used it every night, and usually for stupid things like city planning meetings and road closures that were no big deal and not breaking news at all.

For most of my life, I'd say KATV, but I gave up on them around 15-20 years ago. They still do some things better, like weather, but they'll miss big stories and run others they shouldn't, imo. Nowadays they're the last station for me and I even have several good friends who have worked there forever.
After that, it would be between KTHV and KARK. I would have said KTHV a few years ago, but KARK seems to be improving a lot.

Gradually becoming an old fart like I am, I do like that Fox16's evening news comes on at 9:00 instead of 10:00.
