there's a thread on the more sports board saying sark is entering treatment- he probably got hammered and tried to fondle town and that's why he got the hell out.

He admitted he had taken pills as well.

Real brilliant person who is covering sports for Arkansas Times. He should issue an apology for making an arse of himself with that article.

The hate made no sense. No one is promised a job.
You have to compete and earn a job.

I see 2 scenarios:

A) USC is wanting to start running QB option plays this year and Town couldn't compete with the dual-threat QBs there. He left to come to a school that will utilize him for his passing and not expect him to run the ball.

B) Town couldn't beat out the other QBs with his passing skills and knew he wouldn't see the field. He left to come to a school with less QB competition and using "pro-style offense" as an excuse.

Hoping for A but only time will tell.

That's why I couldn't be on that stage because I'd tell the press "I'm transferring because I think my coach is a fricking nutbag."

You must have missed what he tweeted after that one. I recommend checking out the Auburn board.

Do we know if that was an accurate quote? After his article on Town I am going to need some confirmation that Bert actually said that.
