How are we so wildly inconsistent?

I mean, the ONLY explanation here is coaching, right? We executed a great game plan against FL, which turns out to be a pretty good team, with precision. So, the personnel is there. Then we have our arse handed to us by LSU. We looked like we prepared for a completely different team that game. We couldn't be stopped the next week literally scoring on every touch. Then this game against a 3-8 Mizzou team who is beat up, missing their biggest threat, etc. Their ginger lb smack talks the entire state, and we shite the bed. Completely shite the bed.

I've been a hog fan for 30+ years, and I can't remember a season where I've scratched my head more than this season. Win or lose, we've always been competitive, and I've always supported no matter the outcome. This season is like we have an entirely new team every week we play. We have no idea which team is going to show up. That's squarely on the coaches, and more importantly on Bert.

I'm at a loss for words. My 7 yr old son summed it up best when he asked before the game if he thought we would play well or suck it up again. I told him we would be ready. We finish strong. Bert's teams gel in late season, etc. I have no idea what I'm talking about. No idea who is going to show up to play.
