OK so they're at 9-9 at this juncture. About 5 wins more than I thought they'd have after the UK game.

Nothing will come easy for this team. They've got to focus and play smart to be competitive. When they play team-ball they're not too bad but they're limitations are tough to overcome against talented teams.

Here's the remaining schedule and how I think it could play out.

Georgia* - W
Athens, Ga.

Texas A&M* - L
Bud Walton Arena

Texas Tech - W
Big 12/SEC
Bud Walton Arena

Florida* - L
Gainesville, Fla.

Tennessee* - W
Bud Walton Arena

Mississippi State* - W
Starkville, Miss.

Ole Miss* - L
Oxford, Miss.

Auburn* - L
Bud Walton Arena

Missouri* - W
Bud Walton Arena

LSU* - L
Bud Walton Arena

Tennessee* - L
Knoxville, Tenn.

Alabama* - W
Tuscaloosa, Ala.

I think they're a solid .500 team and honestly that's not a terrible job considering how much was lost off of last years team. Now Mike & Co. did a shitty contingency job in not being prepared to lose the Sr's and Portis and Qualls.

The kid from the Congo had those transcript issues long before summer. Melvin didn't do his homework and especially didn't double check when everyone else backed off him. Mike and the boys are recruiting through transfers and juco instead of doing the work and getting quality HS players. That has to change to get this thing back where it should be.

We need to get legit transfers and immediately eligible grad transfers when we take transfers too. Not just bodies.

If we lose, at home, to an atrocious Auburn team then I would be stunned. Still we are better then I thought we would be going into this season and if our transfer players work out for us next year we should be in good shape.
