I remember driving through a small Texas town a couple of months ago, and saw a "Wantaburger". It had McDonald's golden arches, too.

Except Fayetteville has a Feltner Bros, that is basically Whata-burger. CJ's Burger Boy rules the Russellville burger scene anyway.

I'll never forget, though, my disappointment upon first trying the Texas Chain. I was traveling with a church group and probably 12 or so. We were super excited when we saw that sign and thought we were getting the same thing we all loved in Russellville. The stuff isn't even that good. I can't believe all these people up here are going nuts for it.

CJ's has been the better place for a while. Along the same lines as that David's is good. I think I heard they are tied to CJ's but that may be wrong.

I think the David's guy is the brother of the CJ's guy. At least that's what I was told.

He is or an in law maybe- there is a connection for sure. There was a divorce somewhere in that family and one owned one in Russ (by the interstate) and one owned the other one over on knoxville that is now closed. And one of them went on to do the David's burgers in Conway and LR.

Used to always stop in Russellville with my hometown friends when we were in high school and headed up to UA for the weekend, or when we were in college and headed back home.

I look forward to taking my son there next time we're making the trek through.

The line at 6pm was backed up past Razorback Rd. WTF. I'd drive to Tulsa before waiting that long.

It did make me want a burger though. So I went to American Drive In.

By not having one in Little Rock, we have the best in the State. Whattaburger is terrible and you should feel bad if you eat that Texas dogshit.

So LR is claiming Russellville now? Dang. That is desperation.

I agree about Feltner's tho.

You probably eat at McDonalds.

Whattaburger is awesome. Second only to In n Out.

I can't be the only one who finds In-N-Out to be incredibly overrated. I guess it's pretty good for fast food, but it wasn't the transcendent experience that everyone has hyped it up to be. Just a slightly above average burger.

Whattaburger is awesome...when you are drunk or hungover. Otherwise it isn't anything special, either.

At least I have figured out why so many people in Arkansas are getting obese every year.

Y'all need to eat some more veggies and lean meats.

Naw, Firehouse Subs is my go-to fast food joint. Athenian Grill when I want to change things up and stuff myself with Greek food.

Ha, I used to love me some Feltner's Wattaburger on a trip down the central Arkansas from Fayetteville.

But now just the thought of it or chain fast food burgers makes my bowels feel a little loose.

Being a healthy adult sucks.
