No.

Either you're 1) a pussy or 2) a badass willing to take risks.

I'm okay with whatever you choose to be.

Yes sir. Wonderful!

Thank you for opening my eyes to that place.

Have you ever seen me out on the backroads of East Sunshine buzzing around on my vintage baby blue Yamaha QT50?

No I have not but I do keep a lookout whenever I am pulling out on to Sunshine. Maybe some day I will be lucky and see you fly by.

Glad you got to go to Harvest. Make sure you check out their Sunday brunch as well, if you already haven't.

Never done their Sunday brunch. Do you have to make reservations for that too?

Also, I have a suspicion that the Harvest chef's wife was purchasing all of the morel mushrooms from Mama Jeans back in April.

I called Mama Jeans to get on a list of people they'd call whenever they received morel mushrooms. I would call and ask if they had morels and they would always tell me, "We just had several pounds but a lady came in a day ago and purchased all of them." I'd get frustrated and ask why I wasn't called. They would check their list and tell me, "You're at the top of the call list. You didn't receive a call?"

I'd tell them no and they'd assure me that if they got another batch I'd be the first they called. A week would go by. I'd call back and they'd tell me the same damn thing, "We just sold everything we had to a lady who came in a day or two ago."

For some strange reason I wondered if the mystery lady was in fact the Harvest chef's wife and perhaps she was receiving preferential treatment because she's a farm-to-table restaurant owner who purchases stuff like morel mushrooms in bulk.

Still pisses me off thinking about it.

Morel of the story: Don't trust dirty lying Mama Jeans hippies.

You know there might actually be some truth to that. Their signature dish is their mushroom risotto and it is loaded with mushrooms. They would definitely need to be getting them in bulk from somewhere. I could see Mama Jeans being the place. Good catch there.

Also, you don't need reservations for two when it comes to brunch. Anything over two and she told me to try and make a reservation. I definitely recommend checking it out.
