It’s a shame because, really, he’s a pretty good kid, but there’s a lot of people around him that gave him a lot of bad advice

The more that comes out the more it appears that Nutt was put in a no-win situation.

I can see that to an extent, but he certainly has a part to play in the issues that came during and after the season was over.

Well, that was part of the problem: They did, and he couldn’t handle it,” Nutt said. “They got after him pretty good. I made sure there wasn’t any hazing.

You do realize he demoted Malzahn and brought in David Lee just for Mitch?

Mitch's momma paid Lee to develop him during the summer while he was with the Cowboys.

Too many people where out for their best interests, a large faction saw their best interest as Gus replacing Nutt as HC and that was their goal from the moment they got him hired, and of course Gus was more than willing to set back and let it all happen as it benefited him just as he did when boosters backed him over Chizik while at Auburn.

I think many have forgotten Mitch wanted to redshirt him, Nutt was willing to redshirt him, Dick got hurt in camp and RoJo was not the #1 Dual threat QB in his class, or the Number #100 for that matter.

Outside influences and apathetic parties are the moral of this played out story.

The frick?

Less than two weeks to kickoff and this board has threads on the Nutt/Mustain debacle, rumors from Tardville, and whether we'd take Petrino back.

This has been one hell of a long offseason.
