I saw that article over the weekend as well. I noticed there were a bunch of other articles posted about Father of the Bride being filmed in certain cities that were all the same text except the city was changed.

The one about Fayetteville follows a similar format until you get to the part about her attending Arkansas. That's unique to only the Fayetteville article as best as I could tell.

Hopefully that means it's legit because it would be cool to see the UA get some publicity in a movie.

It was on Facebook. It came up in those auto populated articles that show up on times below the article you've just clicked on and read. They are always similar in content. That is what made me suspicious at first because it looked like the title for each one was the same but with a different city. I'll hop on after this call and we if I can find it again.

Is this like the time everyone thought Clint Eastwood was moving to Hot Springs? Even our local media?

This is fake, just generating clicks.

Hit up a proxy and watch the location change.... Magic!

I saw something in my feed that said this has already been debunked.

I'm in NYC and it still says Fayetteville, AR. Doesn't appear to be based on IP location.

Why even make that up?

Guess just trolling the recent wave of Fayetteville national stardom.

Can't help you, I've gotten it to say Boston, New York, and South Carolina.

It's really not all that fascinating so I stopped there.
