No. Most likely not. Possibly a LB coach, highly doubt an OC.

He waited until after NSD for a DC last year. I imagine the same will be true this year for OC.

Not sure. Don't know if there are any recruits really on the fence that would be pushed over the edge with a new hire, especially if it's a Robb Smith type hire (small name, wait-and-see type).

if so... where does that leave Gragg... both have stated multiple times that they plan on playing together.

KJ's stepdad said recently the decision won't be based off of friendships but rather the philosophy and how KJ's talent will be utilized
aka they love them some of what Kiffin is feeding em
they've been looking for an out and when Chaney left that gave them an excuse to use although throughout KJ's entire recruitment Chaney wasn't a big deal until he leaves

If we lose Hill we lose Hill. I hope we get him and I think he'd do well here. It is more a matter of finding the right fit at OC then it is landing one solid recruit though. Get an OC that specializes in running an efficient passing game and someone like Hill will rack up yards every year on play action passes.

Better to take our time time and make a good hire rather than rush the hire and come away with a Kevin Steele-ish type hire trying to make an 18 year old recruit happy.
