Finally he can run with some fricking protection and a good QB.

Wonder how the toe is doing? I didn't get to watch many games while he was at Oakland.

I know he has been hurt all through his career.

Around 4,200 yds in 7 seasons. One season over 1,000 yards.

2010 and 2011 averaged over 5 yards per carry and has a career average of 4.1.

Last 3 years he's averaged only 3.3 yds per carry.

He's only 27. If he can get healthy and now get to play with a good team, I don't see why he can't go for 1,000 again.

FIFY

Now he's on a team that can actually block and throw the ball.

BUBBLE BURST: Raiders during McFadden averaged #9 in NFL in rushing. (with his backup because he was always hurt no less)

He's horrible just like Felix Jones who ran behind the supposed best OL in Dallas.

Get over it.

Latavius Murray did average more YPC behind the same line last year, but on the other hand McFadden averaged 5+ YPC in 2011 and 2012 (IIRC) when the Raiders' OL ranked more towards the middle of the league than the last few years when they were near the bottom. I never understood why they got rid of Tom Cable.

I still think he can be useful as a receiver and pass blocker as a change of pace back

He can pass block pretty well, one area his physical upward running style works...but that's about it. He never adjusted his style for the NFL even when coaches told him to get lower, hence all the injuries. He looked about like MJD last year, just not much left in that tank.

He's beyond washed up and if this was Jerry's replacement for DeMarco my god what a downgrade.

I would bet they draft an RB in the early rounds and use McFadden in short yardage and blocking situations.
