Again, I'm not saying it's an automatic win. Just saying that a loss doesn't hurt us.

Not sure if you're saying that THAT big is not that great or that they only have one good big.

This is per ESPN:

"Bruce Pearl’s team is led by standout freshman Mustapha Heron. He leads the team in both scoring and rebounding, putting up 15 points per game while grabbing 5.8 rebounds per game."

"While Auburn can protect the rim well and cause havoc in the passing lanes (they rank in the top five in the SEC for both rebounds and steals)."

Looks like it will be another big test for Moses.

Mustapha isn't a big, he's a 6'5" SG

Austin Wiley is our C. He's a 6'11" true freshmen who enrolled in December at age 17 after graduating early. He's averaging 9.7 ppg, 4.7 rpb, and 1.2 bpg

We have 2 other freshman bigs and 1 grad transfer. None of those being over 6'8" though.

The most talented of those other 3 being 6'7" FR Danjel Purifoy who averages 11.5 ppg and 4.8 rpg

We're missing our best defender in the paint, JR Horace Spencer who is out for the rest of the season.

Hopefully we make it a good game, but we looked good fundamentally on Tuesday which usually means we'll implode for the next game.

Breakdown for Arky fans

PG Starter - Jared Harper FR- 50% of the time. Extremely short, will shoot an open 3 from beyond NBA and extremely quick to the hole. Just as likely to go 0-5 as 4-5 3PT. Not a great distributor yet

PG backup Ronnie Johnson 50% - Better Pg right now but better off bench. He distributes extremely well off driving. If you give him a semi decent left hand lane, he will make it and draw the foul

SG- Bryce Brown - 3PT shooter that was awful early but has shot 44% in SEC play. Just started driving and dishing a little and can be a good on ball defender when he isn't being a dumbass

SF/SG- Mustapha Heron- He is a FR versio. Of Sindarious Thornwell. Extremely gifted 5* but can be streaky and a ball hog.

SG/SF/Point Forward- TJ Dunans - Resident dumbass but extremely crafty. Just as likely to make a holy shite play as a wtf play. Usually it happens in succession. When he is playing well he can be incredible

PF/Stretch 4 - Danjel Purifoy- NBA athleticism and but he often refuses to do anything but spot up 3 shoot. Had a high ankle sprain so hard to say

C- Austin Wiley- FR was i. HS in December but now is at AU.

Our centers split time about 50/50 and are a FR/ HS Senior while Heron plays about 30-35mpg

Heron also is an oversized SG at 6'5 215ish so rebounding wise he has a big advantage

posted this on the rant immediately following the Technical called on Pearl

Despite my rantard comments on the SECr, congrats on the win. If Kingsley figures his shite out y'all will be a dangerous NCAAT team

Good luck with the rest of the season (unless you play AU again, then EAD )

We won. Mike might actually have his shite together here. String of good recruiting classes coming and what appears to be a tourney appearance team on the court. I'm glad I was wrong.
