Realistically this is all we can ask of this team.

We can't expect perfection, or even good football, but I'm glad we're seeing improvement. It means most of the players are still buying in. But guys like Bennett who give little to no effort can't be helped at this point. The 2 year shite storm has damaged their psyches and they don't feel like they can win so they don't even try.

Bert has certainly delivered....."I'm here to give Arkansas fans something they've never had" was a saying from his opening presser.....

I only got to watch a small portion of the first half but that play where Bennett just stood there while the State slot guy went blowing past him was infuriating. Luckily that guy tripped over his own feet when he caught the ball.

I believe in giving any first year coach every chance in the world. Every coach needs more than one year to get things going and to get the kinks worked out, but I also do not think it's being overly critical to point out some obvious mistakes in a coach's decision making, especially if those mistakes continue to be made, repeatedly, with the same unsuccessful outcomes.
