I know the D was down pretty bad this year, but I'm still a Robb Smith fan.

I was blown away by what Enos accomplished after they got things figured out.

Chances we hang on to them with all the upheaval in progress right now?

I'm gonna say 60% chance we keep Smith and 30% chance we can keep Enos. I am 100% hopeful we keep them both.

Yeah. They both stay. Both are under contract another year and typically when a unit regress from a Top 10 unit to a bottom 10 unit that coordinator isn't in hot demand.

Enos isn't going to find a better situation than he's in now. Anyone else that offers him a million plus to install a pro set power running package is fighting for his job and Enos could be looking for a gig with the taint of failure on him.

I'd trade for Odom in a heartbeat. Maybe on of these fired SEC coaches are pissed enough to come here and stick it to their old teams.

Kuligowski is the one from Mizzou to target.

Yeah I'm all for dropping Segrest and picking up Kul if we can.

Isn't Segrest in charge of special teams as well?

Woof...no pass rush 90% of the season and special teams barfed all over our win plate a few times...

Then Singleton needs a stern talking to...

Segrest deserves to be shown the door over poor kick offs and field goals.

idc how you spin it. since partridge and Hocker left our special teams have been horrible. our kickers under his watch have sucked. as of right now I'm not a rory fan at all. I don't see him putting in much work recruiting either.

After the season FAU had, I'm kinda surprised Partridge isn't getting the opportunity to come back.

I doubt we lose Enos with the coaching changes thus far and the fact that he has already had his career begin to stall out at a non P5 school as a HC.

He may be best to put in some more work here and wait for one of the P5 schools who settled for their interim HCs to open back up in the next 2 years...

The only two assistants I really care strongly about keeping are Enos and Pittman. Everyone else is replaceable IMO. But for the sake of continuity I would prefer we kept them all.

Enos came here and was quoted as saying "being a head coach is overrated" I think the dude is here for a year or 2 more atleast.

I think the D will be greatly improved next year, not that we should be in any trouble of losing Robb after this past season.

I think the main problem for Robb is with the LBs, I hate to imagine how bad it would be if he hadn't brought in Dre after Shannon determined he wasn't "sec material".

Several of the D's problems are centered around Shannon, lack of talent and depth at his position, "his guys" quickly being passed by newcomers in the secondary. I know many were enamored with his recruiting ability, but so far its proving to be what we already know, its easier to recruit to Miami than Arkansas due to local talent in the state of Miami.

all of his guys, jojo, kendrick, and Ramsey all were removed from the team because they didn't go to class. the other ones haven't done much. in Ramsey's defense that guy was going to start from what I heard before he was gone. shannon was a problem on this staff. his recruiting sucked.

I don't see why not. People will come after Enos for sure but he's got it made here. He recruits who he wants and a head coach that doesn't muddle in the offense. He has control. And I can't see anybody else being willing to pay more for him than we will.

I don't care what excuse you use for Segrest.

The guy has been over kickers and punters for two seasons, and neither one has improved. Arguably, they've both gotten worse under his tutelage.

I saw video of Hedlund in high school. That kid, at one point, could kick the shite out of the ball. What happened? He was a stud. He isn't any longer, that is for sure.

FG kicking was a pain in the arse last season as well. Just flat out shitty.

No excuse
