Does this mean they have finally fired Chuck?

Just wait til the abomination that will be this year's football radio broadcasts hits the airwaves. Chuck plus Quinn will sound like a AA high school game.

I honestly don't find Chuck that awful. I listened to some NFL games and I had no idea what formations or anything that was happening.

Typical chuck broadcast: it's third and 5. going from our left to right. Austin in the gun. 3 wr set with the lone WR to the boundary. Devwah to his right side. Austin takes the snap, has time, looking over the middle. Fires. Complete at the 35! That's a first down! That was keon hatcher. (Keith Jackson chimes in: WOoaahhh that was a big time catch from a big bodied guy chuck)

I now know we are running a 3 wr set. The z and slot are to the field. They are moving from the broyles center.

The NFL games I listened to i got half that info. I think most hate chuck because he followed in their mind a legend in Paul. No matter what he does he will never be Paul.

Yeah Chuck definitely doesn't deserve the hate he gets. He's really good.

I don't hate Chuck. I just dislike how he took up for dale nutt and called all of us fans coo coo and commies for wanting him gone. He basically sided with nutt and called the fans wanting him gone a bunch of booger eating morons.

It pissed off a lot of people (including me). I actually think his voice his phenomenal for baseball, but not so much for football and basketball.

Fair enough. He is also employed by arkansas and probably felt like he needed to take up for a fellow employee. I don't remember that personally. I'm also younger and didn't follow as hard as I do now. Either way I can understand that feeling.

I still stick by I think most old farts, like on tardville, hate chuck cause they thought Paul was tGOAT, and chuck isn't paul.

People need to have an inkling of how the nutt fiasco worked. Nutt worked hard to have some folks constantly in his corner. He fostered resentment and innuendo to create lines of loyalty. Chuck was one of those folks, and I honestly cant blame him for that.

Imagine being a voice of the Hogs, working along side the MSM constantly. this was a part of his family. and Nutt established a family of sorts (somewhat mafia style)

I worked beside HDN a few times, you could definitely tell who was a part of that and who wasn't.
