Never, EVER win ANY game as convincingly as we just lost to a division opponent, after already getting his arse kicked by 2 other division opponents.

Keep your fat frick face away from my school and stop embarrassing us. frick you and your fat fricking face.

Pretty sure there's a little bourbon fueling that melt.

Yes, tonight was embarrassing, probably embarrassed the shite out of CBB as well. Let's see what he does about it.

We've beaten LSU two straight with Bret.
We've beaten Ole Miss three straight with Bret.
We've beaten Auburn, Texas, Tennessee, TCU with Bret.
All of which are pretty good programs.

He does need to take a hard serious look at his assistants and make some changes though.

Awesome. Too bad he still has an 8-20 record in the SEC, 8-12 if you throw out his first year.

I've defended Bert for years, but he's the king of pointing to previous years to shirk blame for shite. It pissed me off to no end when Texas fricking Tech destroyed us at home last year and and hearing his line of "durr well if you think that was an arse kicking, I'd love to see what last year was." Who gives a frick what happened last year, you just got pwned at home by that same team.

No doubt he'll try to trump this loss by bringing up our win over Auburn last year.

I'm done with his shtick. Nobody gives a frick what he did at Wisconsin.

I had no fricks left to give for a melt. Bert embarrassed the hell out of our program tonight. At least against Bama and Aggie we fought until the end. We seemed to give up the fight before the game started.

The net net of it is that Bert is not used to having a tough game every week and doesn't know how to have his team prepared and focused for a dogfight week in and week out.

At Wisconsin and in a conference like the Big Ten, you can enjoy beating a team like Ohio State or Michigan for a few weeks. You beat that highly ranked team and that game is followed up by snoozers against the likes of Purdue, Northwestern, Indiana and Illinois. The momentum of that victory can carry you through.

At Arkansas and in a conference like the SEC, you'd better have a short memory and be prepared for a quick turnaround because beating a ranked team like Ole Miss is great, but you have to turn around the next week and play another ranked team in Auburn.

I really like Bret/Bert. He can develop players as good as anybody in the country. I think he is a good X's and O's guy. The problem is 100% with recruiting. Over the last three years Arkansas' recruitng classes have averaged about 25th in the Country. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, A&M all have been in at or near the top 10. The fact that he can play with and beat some of these teams is what proves he is a good coach. The problem though is its hard to go out each and every week and play against teams that just have flat out more talent. Whenever those teams put up a good gameplan and come to play, things like today happen.
You guys need some recruiters on staff that will go out and hustle talent. Its just hard to do when you have 4-5 other schools in the conference that have other nicer stadiums, facilities, and more resources. At Wisconsin these recruiting classes are good enough to beat everyone but Ohio State and Michigan which he did for the most part. Just tougher sledding for him when he actually has to go out and find talent.

Tl:dr Bert is a good coach, Needs guys on staff that will hustle in talent

When your D1 football team looks like they'd rather play frisbee golf you're gonna have problems in the SEC.

I don't understand why we don't just offer a ton of money to bring in an assistant who's basically dead weight when it comes to position coaching but is a ridiculous recruiter. I know it's message board talk, but we've got to up the ante in recruiting if we're ever going to be more than a .500 SEC program.

Pretty sure there are only 2 football players in that pic, and one of them is in the NFL now.
