I've heard 4th, 5th and Free Agent

I say undrafted, just can't see him be a starter for a NFL team.

What say you?

4th round. He had some miserable seasons but he seemed to put it all together in the second half of his senior year. Allen's ability to make line of scrimmage adjustments and knowing when to heave the ball into the cheap seats makes him a safe draft pick.

Undrafted, get picked up and have a chance to make some money in the NFL as a backup.

Nothing would make me happier than for that shite to happen. BA, what's it like surpassing one of the all-time greats, Tom Brady?

he really only has 1 quesiton mark. his hand size. great footwork, makes great decisions, not an elite arm but better than avg. okay and he's not 6'3.

you know who he REALLY reminds me of? Russell Wilson. Not as fast, not as strong of an arm but more accurate.

hell he put it togehter the first part of the year we just sucked lol. he went apeshit the last part of the year

if i'm a team like the...steelers, i would snatch him up in the 4th and wouldn't think twice about it. 1. he gives you a legit backup QB and 2. there is a small chance that in 4-5 years once ben retires he can be good enough to start. he's a very low risk pick really.

i think if you gave him 3-4 years honestly in any system he'll be able to succeed there

I think right now 5th round at the earliest. No reason to pick him up any earlier than that.

i really do not think johnny is that bad of a QB. he's on the wrong team, and was put in the fire too fast. you don't go from Sumlins bullshite offense to running a legit nfl offense in 1 year

I bet by the time he's 25-26 he's going to surprise some people

Just don't know if he has the toughness to be a QB on a team that gives up a lot of sacks, think he would get gun shy very quick.

Guess that could be for any qb, though

I say late fourth round, early fifth round. He has a high football IQ so he may make a roster when cuts come.

BA always looked great with the green jersey on. I feel like if he can make a roster he may end up with a shot at starting somewhere down the road. Who knows from there.

Amazing what receivers can do for a QB, isn't it? Good RBs with a lousy Oline don't have much success either.

honestly at this point the only thing stopping allen from being a sure fire first round pick is the size of his hands

Unfortunately a lot of folks in the NFL get caught up in measurables instead of what a player can actually do. Its why Nkedmdiche is projected as a top five, or top three, pick despite off the field problems and a noted tendency to take plays and entire games off.
