The SEC is in no way prepared for how fricked they are next year if Portis makes good on that statement and Qualls comes back with him. I would legit melt over anything less than Elite Eight with Harris and Madden gone.

I'll wait and see and let him think for a few weeks. Corliss said the same thing after the UCLA game. Emotions are high and he's pissed about the loss so it doesn't surprise me that he would say that. Hopefully he stays, but dude is projected to be a first round pick.

That alone baffles me. He's a twig and plays soft as shite. He must be getting ranked based off of potential alone.

recanting a bit perhaps...

He is truly considering it but now set. "Going to talk to my mom, my mentor (Corliss Williamson) and my coach. If I come back we will be top 10 for sure. I want to be remembered as the greatest razorback of all time. But it is coming, the decision"

Hmmm...

If anyone will tell him to get his degree, it will be Corliss. He knows what being a bust feels like.

A bust... are you shitting me?

Corliss played for 12 fricking years in the NBA, won a championship and was the 6th man of the year.

He had an outstanding career for a tweener.

You're right. I had him confused with someone else. I've also been into the rum since the game ended.

This is what it boils down to, imo. Does the fam buckle down for another year, or can someone please funnel alittle walkin around money?

You probably mean Scotty Thurman.

We would have been so legit with Thurman surrounded by Reid, Bradley, Robinson, Pate and Adebayo.

That's exactly who I was thinking of. Thanks for clearing that up.

This really isn't a surprise.. he's been saying and telling coaches and people he's coming back all year.. bigger question is Qualls.

Bad feeling about Qualls. He seemed like he had disconnected himself in interviews. He referred to the team and organization as "they" multiple times.

He gonna need at least two years to do that!!! Unless he averages 40 and 20 next year with 10 blocks per game and we win the NC. Then I will allow him to leave early and still be crowned "greatest ever".

I've always thought Qualls was the bigger risk to leave, even it if was to Europe. I've always thought there was some State loyalty and probably MA loyalty involved with Portis.

But Portis leaving makes the most cents, so it's possible we lose both.

If that happens it's not going to be pretty next year. Maybe another soft OOC schedule will get us to .500 overall, but no chance to go .500 in conference.

We'll still go .500 in conference even if they both leave.

I think you're underestimating the potential for growth and improvement in the other players plus incoming players.

I'm really excited to see what Kingsley can do.
