@RazNation: Bret Bielema: great thing about a bowl win is that you can savor it for a long time

@RazNation: BB: Kurt Anderson is a vibrant personality

@RazNation: BB: People raved about what Kurt was doing. A lot of positives around him, a dynamic recruiter

@RazNation: BB: very good chance Hunter could be the first tight end drafted this year

@RazNation: BB: It was a difficult decision for Alex Collins, but he got a favorable grade

@wholehogsports: Bret Bielema says Kody Walker will return for his sixth season.

@TreyBiddy: Bret Bielema expects Randy Ramsey to be with the team as a walk-on player in the spring.

@RazNation: BB: Rawleigh Williams III is doing well. We're gonna make sure we get everything cleared before he gets back on the field.

@TyESPN995: Bielema: I don't think Rawleigh Williams will do anything with us this spring besides drills.

@RazNation: BB: My final four guys I considered for the O Line job were all NFL Guys

@RazNation: BB: Kurt Anderson brings a dynamic factor to our O Line Coaching Job. He's very detail-driven

@4029AJ: Bielema says when recruiting new OL coach Kurt Anderson, he was "entertained" by his Twitter account. Can't blame him

@RazNation: BB: I like the fact we have a guy like Keon Hatcher coming back

@DannyWest1: Bielema says Randy Ramsey will be with them in the spring as a walk-on. He's not 100 percent sure, but looks likely.

@RazNation: BB: I'd like to sign a minimum of four offensive linemen

This is interesting.

@NWAHutch: Bielema says he thinks they'll do some one-day satellite camps in the Midwest - Chicago, Detroit, etc.

DudleyD: Coach B: On Kurt Anderson - like that he has 5 years, like they he developed in college and didn't have it easy, I love following his twitter account, he laid out a great plan. I had some guys with 15 years in the NFL, but I didn't think they had the dynamic I needed here at Arkansas

DudleyD: Coach B: I am going to put Coach Anderson and East Texas. We are going to hit the Midwest more. May even go do some satellite camps in those areas.

DudleyD: Coach B: I want to sign 4 OL, might go to 5. I think we can improve 2 of the 3 positions that we had lost. If Denver had come back, we were going to move him to guard

DudleyD: Coach B: Spring practice will start on Tuesday after spring practice - which is March 21-25.

DudleyD: Coach B: I think we are going to get to at least 24 and probably 25 scholarships in this recruiting class.

@RazNation: BB: byproduct of three juniors going pro is the fact three scholarships are available

@RazNation: BB: Recruits love the Being Bret Bielema Special

@RazNation: BB: I think it's ridiculous we're expected to only have egg nog one month out of the year. I'd like to open my own egg nog store

DudleyD: Coach B: Wants 12 offense, 12 defense and one coach's discretion for the number of scholarships in the 2016 class

DudleyD: Coach B: All of spring practice will be done after spring break - Red-White spring game will be April 23.

That means Wallace is probably going to for sure play a tackle for us.

DudleyD: Coach B: Josh Williams had to have another procedure. He has lost a lot of that calf. It is probably going to be a long time before he can play football again. He won't be able to practice this spring and may not be this fall. I would hire him as a linebacker assistant if he can't play

DudleyD: Coach B: If Jeremy Sprinkle can give me one year of focus, I can help him get 30 great ones down the line

@TyESPN995: Bielema: We could have two of the best TE's back to back years.
(referring to Henry and Sprinkle)

@NWAHutch: Bielema says one NFL GM told him he wanted Hunter Henry and Jeremy Sprinkle on his team next year.

DudleyD: CoacH B: An ideal LB number of signees is 4 - three high school guys and one junior college

I really enjoy these last few weeks of recruiting

Mentions that J-Day has come along and that they are in on some of the top backs that he has ever been on

@ericwbolin: Josh Williams had another procedure. Lost a lot of calf muscle. Gonna struggle to walk and function overall.

@ericwbolin: It's quite unlikely Williams plays next season and perhaps not ever.

@ericwbolin: "Ideal shooting number for us (recruiting LBs) is four. Love to get three and a JUCO."

DudleyD: Coach B: I talked and sent pictures to about 170 recruits during a break during the national championship game. It was a great exposure deal for our program.

@RazNation: BB: outside of Sprinkle's creative TD celebration, I need a greater commitment from Jeremy as far as diet, sleep, nutrition.

@RazNation: BB: Sprinkle could give us arguably the best set of tight end performances in back to back years

DudleyD: Coach B on Dominique Reed: "I think it's going to be great for us to show where he needs to get physically to play at this level and beyond."

@ericwbolin: Bielema says families ask about concussion protocol all the time in recruiting nowadays.

@ericwbolin: Bielema says he considered a more experienced hire as O-line coach, but wanted someone "dynamic."

@ericwbolin: Anderson is a big tech-head, Bielema says. That will be super helpful in recruiting.

@RazNation: BB: Dominique Reed is doing fine health-wise

@ericwbolin: Bielema doesn't expect anyone transferring out.

@ericwbolin: Bielema: "99 percent Randy Ramsey will be with us in the spring as a walk-on." He wanted to pay his own way.

@ericwbolin: Ricky Town is fourth right now because of time in program, but things could change in spring.

@ericwbolin: Bielema stresses Arkansas has to be a nation-wide recruiting program. Not just the South.

Never realized that he had this serious of an issue.

Best of luck to Josh.

I'm sure CBB and the University will take care of him in his future.

From 247:

quote:

Austin Allen got in a lot of work and then a lot of practices where the other 3 got a lot of work. If the first group ran out there it would be Austin, second Rafe Peavey, third Ty Storey and fourth Ricky Town. How they do in spring will determine how that order is then.

@ericwbolin: "I cannot tell you eloquently enough how thrilled I am to be here at Arkansas."

@ericwbolin: "This place is awesome. It's awesome."

@NWAHutch: New OL coach Kurt Anderson says Rob Ryan is looking at buying his house in Buffalo. "Rob, just do it."

DudleyD: Coach Kurt Anderson now at the podium: I can't tell you how happy I am to be at Arkansas. I wouldn't have left Buffalo for just an job.
1:38
DudleyD: Anderson: Notes that Rob Ryan is currently looking at his house and if he buys it, he can get his wife and five kids on down to Fayetteville

@RazNation: Anderson: My goal as a coach is to make you a better husband, father, and a better person at whatever you do

I really like this guy.

@ericwbolin: "Rob Ryan is actually looking at my house right now." Anderson talks to the camera. "Rob, do it."
