Bert at the ESPN carwash

Is it a bad thing that I saw the words "Bert" and "carwash" and this was the first thing that came to mind?

A few interesting tidbits from listening to the convo:

- the way we played down the stretch, especially the Texas Bowl, did a lot for recruiting and player morale going into the offseason.

- our offensive philosophy isn't "three yards and a cloud of dust," it's "run for 200 and throw for 200." Big misconception there.

- we're not doing two-a-days this year (for the first time in Bert's career), which may be a good thing for preventative measures given the physicality of our style of play.

- singled out Tevin Mitchel as the "biggest turnaround player he's witnessed" in his career.

- Tevin's turnaround had nothing to do with practice and everything to do with listening to coaching, Coach Herb's training, and Robb Smith's scheme.

- Tevin's turnaround had a lot to do with him scrapping two-a-days.
