Figured it was self explanatory but letting 1-7 mt. St. mary drop 76 on you is garbage.

We play a faster pace than just about anybody. They shot poorly from the floor judging by %s and we won the TO battle forcing them into 11. The overall number is not always the end all be all

kenpom has us ranked 63rd in adjusted tempo...top 20% for sure, but no reason to let the 316th best offense score that many points on us

from looking at the roster, etc. MA played a bunch of players, got many folks touches.
This might have something to do with the score, etc.

We suck. Watched the entire game.
Still trap 25 feet from the basket which gives 4 on 3 and a layup or the ball is kicked out for an open 3. It's not rocket surgery, but MA just can't seem to figure it out.
Kingsley has all of a sudden started thinking he is Pat Bradley and continues to brick/air ball long jumpers.
We may match last years .500 overall record, we may not.

not sure if we outright suck, but there's no backup plan if we aren't nailing the 3 or the other team isn't turning the ball over. Nolan and MA's teams have never really rebounded well and rarely shoot that well from the free throw line.

This is the other big issue, we could get away with some bad defense if we rebounded the ball better but they go hand in hand sometimes.

When two of your defenders are out past the three point line trying to trap, and one of those is a big, you don't have anyone to rebound.
If MA would just get away from the trapping crap so damn far from the basket, we would a lot better defensively. I understand trying to trap someone in a corner, because you actually have four defenders. Two players, two lines. But attempting to trap beyond the top of the key, is stupid.
