That defense was nasty. It was the kind of defense average coaches win 9 or 10 regular season games with. Bert's results?

Blown the frick out by Auburn in a game that was tied at half
Blown the frick out by Georgia in Little Rock.
Classic Bielema bed shite against Mississippi State
Typical Bielema bed shite against Missouri where he refused to pull a QB that was incapable of throwing the ball
Annual Texas A&M bed shite. Blows 14 point 4th Q lead
Blows best chance we've had to beat Bama in a decade

Finished seventh in a seven team division.

How many pro level players has DVH had over the years with no Championships as a result?

I mean if this is the standard...

Don't forget the absolute bed shite against Alabama that year also... A game we should have easily won. Missed extra point late and fumbled the ball out of end zone for a touch back because we called a fricking screen pass to guy with a fricking cast on his hand... In the pouring rain...

That's easily a 10-11 win team... Defense was probably even better than the 2006 team... Incredible....

Really, 2014 should've pulled back the curtain on how lost Bert was here and how it wasn't going to end well.

We just didn't know it at the time because we'd been sold the bullshite narrative from Long and Bielema that this was a colossal rebuild and that we should see numerous bedshittings as progress and being "close."

I do not believe this was a massive rebuild now. It is now after him.

Lol, it's the coaching staff's fault that Walker fumbled? GTFO

I want this staff gone as much as anybody, but dumbfrick statements like that just make us look like a bitch arse fanbase.

Agree with cubsfan but in a softer tone..

lol

Now, I also don't think it would take that much to make this team successful. The rebuild, wouldn't be that much of a rebuild. There is a solid nucleus of players overall. But Bret refuses to utilize some of them. Sucks. I'm not sure why he cant figure it out, or if this is just his way out of here...

I Criticized the call...not Walker....

You have to say to your coordinator,"Hey, it's a raining shitstorm right now and the play call is going to a guy with a club on his hand....lets not do that..."

Yet again, no awareness or in-game management skills by fatass.

I also agree with this team not being THAT bad. You see it all the time, an incompetent guy gets fired and the next guy Wins like 8 or 9 games with the exact same core. Let's just hope we get someone who can instill some mental toughness and not refuse to play the most talented guys because of pettiness.

By the way....have we ever gotten a real explanation as to why guys who couldn't start for UCA are playing over 4 and 5 star-type talents?????

I don’t believe a massive rebuild is on the way. I actually think the right coach can come in and make a huge difference in year one.

As long as the new coach can convince the current talent on the team to stay, we should be fine.

The new coach will have some patchwork recruiting to take care of, but we have plenty of young talent to work with.

What we need to upgrade is OL, LB, and DL.

QB, RB, WR, TE, and DB are all set for a couple years.

Won 6 games with Trey Flowers and Deatrich Wise.

The greatest coach of our lifetime starts them both on arguably the NFL's best team.
