Nope. I gave away the tix I was given by a now former tenant. I was going to go when it was a work trip (free flight ) but we sold our last lubbock property.

Have fun. The south plains is home to some of the nicest people you will ever meet. You will be treated well wherever you go.

Hope you have fun and good luck to the Hogs on Saturday, but Lubbock is not a great town.

The Big 12 did not offer many decent road trips outside of Austin and Boulder, certainly don't miss it.

If I wanted to risk the chance of being robbed, assaulted, and getting nailed in the head with a couple of D batteries I'd just drive to South Memphis.

Anybody have any links to free Tech boards? I had planned on spending my afternoon off finishing up watching Jericho and trashing message boards with racially insensitive jokes and white trash comments.

Ames is kinda meh. Lawrence is awesome. There are certainly quite a few middle of nowhere college towns in that conference.

Been in Lubbock for about 24 hours. It's not bad at all. The people (except 3 students) have been ver, very friendly. They've all been good natured about the game and very pleased that we decided to visit Lubbock.

I've enjoyed it so far.

Lawrence is a good college town and would probably be top 5-6 in the SEC, IMO. Forgive the Mizzou fan for not admitting it. They hate each other.
