Haven't heard much on this.

Damn shame we don't have a shot at one of the best player in the nation from CAC.

I saw a couple of the local media folks on Twitter this weekend speculating that Long would be pursuing Mike Neighbors from Washington now that the Huskies were out of the tournament. No idea if that was just wild guessing or if they had actual info.

If he was really wanting to get to Arkansas, don't you think that would have already happened? How many days does he need after they were eliminated.

WBB program is probably like Kaepernick, no one wants anything to do with it.

May have to bring back Christy Smith, which doesn't have much HC'ing experience

I would agree with this. Dykes let shite get way out of control and whoever steps in is going to have to clean up an absolute mess. I wouldn't want any part of it personally.

Which is sad. When Dykes took over, it wasn't a terrible program. Just wasn't getting to the NCAAt every season, but had been making the post season and winning right at 20 games a season. Not sure looking back, that Dykes should have even been hired. Not sure that there should have even been an opening for him to be hired into.

2010-11: 22-12 NIT Quarters
2011-12: 24-9 NCAA 2nd round
2012-13: 20-13 NIT 2nd round
2013-14: 19-11

Dykes Hired
2014-15: 18-14 NCAA 2nd round
2015-16: 12-18
2016-17: 13-17

We have a fixer upper program. You will need to put in some work to get it going but once you do it could be great.

If we can't lure anyone with a bigger resume then Christy Smith might find herself in the mix. I'm not sure she's ready in her coaching career to step into a job in the toughest WBB conference in America though. UIW did not have a sterling season with her calling the shots this year but in all honesty they don't appear to have any talent to draw on either.

What we do know about Smith is she was tougher then a two dollar steak as a player and knows the area like the back of her hand. If she improves, and UIW is going to be tough place to do that, then in the future she might make a fine Ladybacks coach.

Someone on the 247 who claims to have connections says that its Neighbors. We'll see if he is correct.

Robyn Fralick from Ashland U in Ohio is who Inwould be all about if she had more experience. Year two and she just won the D2 Natty. Runs an up tempo press game and her girls regularly drop 100 while blowing teams out. Went 37-0 this year.

Forget Fralick, if this shirt is an indicator of her future at Arkansas it would mean a ballooning waistline and mediocrity.

Will probably be known after Final Four weekend. More jobs are shopped at that event than the rest of the year combined.

Looks like it could indeed be Neighbors.
